So, how are finishing moves implemented and are there

Regarding magic finishing moves I sure hope they are in. But seeing as how fire chars the enviroment and ice spells freeze enemies bodies (at least visually) it seems likely that something like that would happen? I dont remember where I read these two facts though.

Archery has timeslowing as a perk (I think they said that at least) so sweet looking deaths could be all slowmotiony. I hope.

Archery Finishers:

--stringing & firing a triplet of arrows into multiple body sections

--rushing up to the enemy (possibly in slo-mo) and jamming a single arrow, with your hand, through the enemy's neck

--rushing up to the enemy as they are stunned/staggering and wrapping your bow around their neck, twist, and wrench tight (suffocate/decap)

--stuffing an arrow into each eye socket

--triplet of arrows into lower abdomen, organ spillage

--Black Knight treatment; ie. carefully but quickly aim arrows to chop off all limbs one by one

--walk up to enemy, open mouth, yank out tongue, spear tongue on ground with arrow

These are simply martial ideas; don't know if combinations with magic or shouts would be doable

Did you not get the continually repeated part where Bethesda has said there will not be things like decapitations and severing, therefore clearly no spilling of entrails, etc? You have a very violent imagination D:

Nope, news to me--I hear 'finishing moves' and immediately think of the old Mortal Kombat glory days, aka extremely violent & gory ways to die

I think although gore isnt a bad thing .. Betheda just wants TES to have it's own feel .. If they keep bringing parts of fallout into it and parts of TES into fallout then we dont get two titles from bathesda and we end up with a simple reskin of the same game .. gore is fallout to me .. not every game need extreme violence

I'm not sure if you have watched the QuakeCon demo, but when an Archer comes to help Todd, he gets a quick bite from a dragon, and before dying he starts to twitch, drops his bow, drops himself, and then dies. Also, there was a perk about "bleeding damage" or something. I guess we will see some dying animations, beside finishing moves. For bows... I hope there aren't finishing moves, just too unfitting with Skyrim. That also includes slow time after a shot in my book. Instead, they should put death animations.

Something you might not know is, to trigger the finishing move you have to be on your last enemy in the battle, and it has to be a power attack.
