Just an idea:

Why not make use of our great picture artists here and use the most endorsed picture for the site banner.

BlueDanube pictures would be much more appropriate and fit the 'Fallout-Feel' so much better than the emotionless, generic banner we now have.

Well my first impression on the new design is it's less easy to read and to navigate:

Of course it's partly due to be used to the old design, but i always liked minimalist design...

Less picture, using more "border" than picture...

As for the tabs for file section though i'll get used to it, i stil prefer good old text...

Those are minor reasons...

But what I miss the most is the right panel... The content of the file drop down menu should still be accessible as links (it may sound stupid but it was the part I loved the most in the nexus everything accessible under one click)

Well you're not to blame if I hate menus :)

Anyway on the bright side, I felt performance improvement, and it feels like a great base to improve on....

EDIT: Also where is the update to the files we are tracking?

I mean that was a great feature to be great it should be put next to the "message" button...

Welllll....

The site no longer resizes to fit whatever screen you have. On a widescreen, easily half the horizontal space is unused. That results in scrolling... and scrolling... and scrolling... and scrolling... On the old site, I could see 12 new mods in Latest Files at a time. Now? Three.

The tracking/comment notifications also seems to be missing. I quite liked that feature..

This is the problem I had. I mean most people have "wide-screen" monitors now whats the reason for all this dead space?
