More of Mozilla's "it's the same, but it's not" because you're on Linux?

Firefox 6 user here, looks fine in Windows. Cache needs purging? Cookies? Tried it in safe mode?

Yep, already did all those before posting.

One possible cause, is that there is a mixture of relative and absolute sizes in the CSS, instead of sticking with one type (em or px, not both), and fixed sizes/positions for most of the elements.

Different devices/OS's use different fonts (and font rendering libraries/anti-aliasing/etc) - and rarely look the same even when using the same fonts (in this case, Trebuchet MS). If the fonts being rendered are bigger/smaller, whilst being used within fixed boundaries - something has to give, and Gecko/QtWebKit may be crapping out here.

Another possible cause is some bugged JavaScript relying on those sizes/positions being exact, and causing the distortion when stretching/replacing an image. I would probably say this is the cause, as it seems pretty temperamental (a couple of pages may load fine, then go completely borked).

One of the main reasons I got a Premium Membership was so that I could quickly drop in to the Nexus and see if any of my watched mods had updated, simply by checking if there was a notification at the top of the page. Now that's gone, so has my reason to pay for a subscription!

Although, I have one bug I've discovered. While on my User Area, when I click on "Manage your supporter's images," there are no thumbnails for the images on the next page to load (my supporter images), and when I click on them, they take me to a random image that is not mine.

Getting the same thing here. I had noticed before that forum links to supporter images would take you to a random (non-supporter/same numerical id) image.

Oh, and the "Latest Files" box on the right of each homepage seems to be not-up-to-date? Or does latest refer to some other criteria?

Loving the "More From This Uploader" function.

Not so keen on the fact that I cannot tell who has endorsed my files/images, or the seperation of endorsements from comments in the Imageshare. Or the odd squashing of images, but am quite happy to *right-click, veiw image*.

For everyone upset by the narrowness, simply zoom your browser in? (Ctrl and + in Firefox). Worked for me.

Change is always daunting, but essential for growth. The aesthetics aren't my cup of tea, but I still love this site and appreciate all the hard work that has gone into it.

No hat for the Nexus? Poor thing. Everyone deserves a funky birthday hat!

Hugs & kisses, Nexus!

Getting used to the new site (DANexus).

I appreciate the effort you and others have put in to improve the site/s.

Well done.

From my quick whiz around the new site format some suggestions from me (some have been raised/some are new - I read through the 250+ comments before adding my own)

1. Please Include a wide screen option (I know, I know but I wanted to put in my vote for this)

2. Please allow login using Enter key -after typing in Username and Password (remove requirement to click green Login button)

3. Please use a consistent order (top to bottom) of the RHS panels/list on all pages (eg. Latest Files, Top Files, Most Downloaded, Latest News). The order varies from page to page which makes navigation very confusing.

4. Latest Files are not showing correct latest files in the RHS panel on DA Nexus. To recreate bug select Latest Files from the Files menu and you will see the list and RHS panel are show different files? I have checked other sites some are working and some are not (both front and internal pages)

5. Please restore ability to see updates to tracked files. I used this a lot as premium member.

As I come across any other issues I will add them so you have a record.

I recognise you will be focused on helping people who have having browser related/major problems during this initial phase

Please keep up the good work. You have always been very quick to respond to you customers/users

Thanks in advance.

Though I can perfectly understand the reasons given for the change in layout and I will admit that this new look is more airy than the previous look, there is this one miniscule thing that bugs me to no end.

The blog posts.

At the very top and the very bottom there are sections that contain a striped background, but the rest of the post isn't even encased in a border.

For me personally it feels rather flow breaking and as I've said before it bugs me to no end.

Another thing, as said before, is the seemingly not up-to-date "Latest Files" block.

And the strange occurrence where the "Top Files" block goes blank. This happens when I try to view any and all blog posts, but outside of that it seems to functions as it should.

this design is pretty awesome :D and i really like it, but i used to find mods by using the search, i would specify the category and then have them all show up, but now id have to go to advanced search to do that.....

would it be possible for the search categories to be added back? :)
