Pronam
*combines 2 evils for a bad result* Skyrim is getting its own Nexus site, so I'd get my arse ripped to shreds if I used that! Plus it's got to be subtle, not in-yo-face blue! :PYeah, hence the 'bad result' part. It was a quick fix and I wasn't paying attention at the colour-sheme at all .If the backgrounds you have in mind don't steal too much bandwidth it seems a worthy keeper, I was afraid the empty space would've been used for site-wide ads instead! KDStudios
Here's my little fanmade version of Fallout3nexus.Made using ingame screenshots, I'll make one using art now :P Background Image: http://img17.imageshack.us/img17/5183/bg2is.jpg Background on F3nexus: http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/1939/f3nexus2.jpg
Quetzlsacatanango
Is a mobile theme a possibility? The ol' ipod really struggles to load these sites now.
Dark0ne
I'm going to put these skins live imminently. What I might do a little bit in the future is allow people to upload their backgrounds to the site, go through an approval stage, and then mod authors can either choose to use the default, someone else's background, or their own. Similarly I'll code in an option for user's preferences to choose from the pool, or choose to have none at all.
KDStudios
That's a great idea, can't wait for it to be implemented! :)
Thandal
Looks good. Anything that makes that space on either side visually interesting to those of us with wide screens is an improvement. And being able to disable it for those with more limited capability (e.g. mobile platforms) would be great. Especially if the platform could be automagically detected! Now, if you could just get those "rounded button" menu bar hot-spots to display properly in IE9 without crowding on top of each other, both horizontally ("Messages" sticks out over the next button) AND vertically ("Logout" and "Nexus Network")... :whistling: Example: http://platform.tesnexus.com/imageshare/images/1678793-1314291589.png Tech SpecsMonitor: 22"Resolution: 1680x1050 (16x9) Browser: IE9Browser Resolution: 100%
BlackRampage
Looks like they're implemented. Just noticed them on the FO3 nexus. Thanks KD! (and Dark0ne too of course) Much better.

Dark0ne
Example: http://platform.tesnexus.com/imageshare/images/1678793-1314291589.png Is that happening on the actual TESNexus site too? It doesn't do that in my IE9.
Thandal
Yup. Here's a comparison of FF6 and IE9 on my rig: http://www.dragonagenexus.com/imageshare/images/1678793-1314295010.png Pretty much the default IE9 settings, but willing to dig into them if that might matter...
