Elsarian
Hi guys, I just downloaded the 4GB patch that allows you to run 32 bit applications on a 64 bit system and allow that program to use more memory. Well it said that in order to do this, you must run the patch's .exe and locate the desired executable for the program that you want to use more memory for. In this case, Oblivion. Well I use the OBSE .exe to run the game, so should I apply the change to both Oblivion's .exe and OBSE, or just Oblivion? Thanks in advance. Also, here is the link to the 4GB patch if they wish to use it: http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php -Elsarian
AlfredTetzlaff
Hi,Ouote from the Bethesda Thread :Add the LAA 4gb patch to your Oblivion.exe and not obseloader.exe (I made this mistake at first) Also, be sure to make a backup of your original Oblivion.exe file. HeyYou
Keep in mind the LAA patch will only make a difference if you have a 64 bit operating system, and more than 2gig of RAM.
Elsarian
Yes I know this. That is the only reason why I just bought 8 Gigs of memory and removed my 32 bit windows and replaced it with 64. Thanks everyone.
