Oh just calm down all of you, this always happens when a game's been hyped: Everyone sees little things they dislike and has a big hissy fit and says they won't buy it because of X or Y reason. You'll buy it, I'd wager money on that.

What Im sick of is all this PC elitism, can you honestly not accept that console players have a right to game too? fair's fair guys, we can mod, they cant, may aswell give them something good too. And it's not like we're missing out entirely either. So just cool yourselves off, it's not the end of the world, Skyrim's gonna rock like a Sabbath concert, and we're all going to end up happy and content, there's no point getting all worked up, K? chill out bro.

I'm just hoping the feature they promise don't get removed like they did with Oblivion, like the HD shadowing and all of the feature they where promising with Oblivion but never came our way because they removed it during the process. Edited by Thor.

History repeating itself???

No .. and heres why .. The early footage of oblivion was released long before the game was done.. Oblivion was made on the PC before the launch of the 360 .. they didn't even know what the specs were for the 360 so they crammed a lot in and it wasnt optimised .. thn they got ahold of the 360 and had to chop the game into bits to make it run .. watch the making of video .. it will build your confidence for skyrim ;)

Thats the point, it all should be left alone for the pc version and chopped solely for those systems alone, leaving the pc version in tact. Edited by Thor.

Okay, really? I pop in here curious about detail, and within the first page I see comments like:

360 sales of any game including TES dwarf PC sale .. Although I'm a PC gamer and think of myself as the real fan base for TES .. 360 players really are the majority of TES players like it or not .. yea yea .. flame me for telling the truth .. I'm ready .. I can take it :P

and:

Have anything to back that up? I mean hard data.

Xbox 360 owners will forget about skyrim a few months in (exactly like they did with Oblivion), PC owners will still be buying the game years from now.

Alright, i agree timed exclusives suck, but here is the kicker guys: I buy my Beth games on PC and 360, I do this for two reason: I like to be able to run the PC version on the high end of things which requires saving for upgrades, and I don't usually play on the PC beyond testing out my own modding endeavors, 99% of which have never seen another hard drive. My point here is, that even if someone plays only on the console, it doesn't mean they aren't a "true fan". The elitist attitude is offensive, honestly, since I have been faithfully playing TES games for over a decade.

I have intended to purchase Skyrim for PC. I just cancelled my preorder. This announcement has single-handedly made me decide that I will be obtaining Skyrim through a mode alternative to retail.

THIS is the reason why so many Game developers would rather code for consoles than the PC! Good thing your $## is banned!...Moron, I have a choice and I choose to support this company and buy this game! And at full price to boot!

PC gamers don't need no stinking DLC -- we make our own.

EXACTLY! And besides, like Fonger said, if the Console gamers get it first, then chances are it'll actualy work when we PC'ers get our paws on it.
