Anti-Minutemen Faction= Conventional Warfare Mod

I was disappointed to find that there was no direct enemy of the MM. So I proposed that a "Slaver" faction be put in the game and made a direct rival for the MM. It would be perfect for "Evil" playthroughs and could be incorporated by using existing things. Make the first Corvega quest different by giving you an option of joining them. Corvega can be the Slavers "sanctuary" and the boss there can be an evil preston... giving you missions to capture and enslave MM controlled settlements, bonus caps and ammo for each settler that survives. Radial missions that involve hitting caravans for building supplies, escaped slaves, MM assassinations and settlement sieges, maybe a feature where after you take over a settlement you can line up the captured settlers and try to persuade them to become and inside spy for another MM settlement, if you fail you can kill them to increase the chance of persuading the next person..but you lose an assignable worker.. this gives high CHA players an obvious benefit to being a silver-tongued devil, or if you invest some points into the Lady Killer/Black Widow perks you can easily "seduce" a slave that gender into being your spy without having to kill any of them. Having a sleeper slave in the next settlement will get you a dead drop map marker with a master key to the settlement and let you sneak in or makes sieges easier and/or possible depending on your lockpicking perk. Maybe if you have certain ranks of Demo Expert you can "train" your spy and with each rank make them a better saboteur where they can destroy generators, turrets, guard posts, supply caches (forces them to use low end weapons and makes them easier to capture alive)

This would also give MM faction more of a war like questline, and also stealth builds more things to do. where you can sabotage Slaver bases and operations (same stuff if you are siding with slavers), assassinations and intel gathering... maybe you steal plans in the slaver camp from the boss that warns you of a future attack that you can beef up your defenses for. Assassinate the Slaver boss at a settlement to weaken raiders and/or lessen raider attacks for a certain amount of in-game time OR if you Pickpocket radio codes from that slaver boss (or Science! the radio and plant a bug for stealth/int builds) and let him/her live that allows you to spy on them with your pipboy and find out more missions, map markers/quest markers for slaver settlements and outpost that are going to attack your settlements or capture your settlers and defeat them preemptively which raises the happiness meter and gives you some other benefits.... Plant enough bugs or steal enough codes and you can "triangulate" the secret location of the Slaver King (or the MM General Preston appoints in your stead) and assassinate him/her for a faction-wide debuff of all Slaver settlements, under-levels the enemies, stops war activities and makes it much easier for non-combat focused players to capture normally heavily fortified slaver settlements.

Of course Combat focused players can brute force their way through heavily fortified settlements with enemies that are always a level or two higher than you with a Legendary Boss in charge. Using Flare Guns and Artillery strikes for assistance..but keep in mind anything that is destroyed in the siege you won't be able to re-purpose for yourself. Surgical strikes from a Sniper player to kill the power to turrets, or if your lucky you can berserk-er dart the Legendary Raider Boss and let them go ape s#*! on his own men.. Sneak in and place mines, shut down turret generators, launch a flare and watch the raiders start to scramble then enjoy the fireworks.

EDIT: Perhaps even a feature where you can "stockpile" soldiers at settlements..the way the game is set up now, your CHA affects how many settlers you can have at any given settlement. What if there was a feature that allowed players that had advance knowledge of an attack (by stealing an intel report or hacking enemy radios) to either over extend your settler limit and send them temporarily to the settlement you know will be attacked OR be able to use the intel report or hacked radio holotape as an ingestible that sends unnamed Minutemen Troops from the castle to that settlement to bolster your ranks.

And if you succeed in defending the settlement and want to launch a counter attack at the Slavers with your bolstered numbers, then it upgrades the flare gun to call in more troops!

Thats the dream. Does any experienced modders think that this is possible?

Just to answer quickly: it looks great and I'm always for more factions, more fights. And slavery is awesome (in game of course ^^).

But:

1) The Minutemen already have the gunners as ennemy

2) We can already be a slaver with mods :p

haha sorry I have been on PS4 the whole time so I kind of been ignoring the nexus to reduce the PC envy, but with mods coming out next month for PS4 I started scheming... of course most of my ideas end up being too big and complex and wouldn't work on consoles anyway but I thought If someone out there had the talent and ambition to take this idea all the way why not share it! :D

Raiders, super mutants and monsters are the main enemies of the Minutemen, but they're not very organized. Gunners are a mercenary organization that are hostile to everyone for unknown reasons unless they're really just organized raiders. They typically don't go raiding settlements though, AFAIK.

I don't know how far you are in the game, but you should visit carefully Quincy

There is no quest, but there are many clues.
