Your Favorite Game Character

This thread is about your favorite guy/gal of what ever game you may play.

I would like to see the many veriatons of characters that exist today in the form of opinions if that makes any sense.

I would LOVE to see any and all details of NPCs that either Make or Break the game of choice for People.

For me on the Nexus:

Fallout 3:

Dad/James: When first seeing this guy in action and voice, I knew I wanted to make him proud regardless of my personal upbringing.

The guy behind the voice: Liam Neeson: http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Liam_Neeson

Why? Just... ideal Daddy dialogue sorta thing :)

Oblivion:

http://static.diary.ru/userdir/2/4/2/3/2423857/69073536.jpg

Lucien Lechance: Best voice actor ever, ideal Imperial and Best imperial guy with a Breton family surname.

Dude even did a brilliant Burke for Fallout 3.

Voice Actor: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0426432/

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines ---> PERSONAL FAV.

Smiling Jack:

http://webnv.net/userfiles/nvadmin/image/bloodlines/bloodlines6.jpg

He was there from the start for you, offering you help. Thoughout the game he remain more or less neutral for you unless you said certain things about the "free living dead" that is the "Anarcs"

This guy made me giggle when he giggled in dialogue.

I understand that most players of Bloodlines say that the "Malkavians" they play make the game but Jack is the REAL Soul for the game...

Voice actor: Too be written.

Nice thread! OK, here are mine.

Oblivion: Martin Septim. Gotta love Sean Bean. :D I really thought his character was great, and I think Bean did and excellent job of portraying him...a reluctant hero who grows to fill his station. I really became attached to his character over time.

Neverwinter Nights: Aribeth de Tylmarande. A very well-developed, tragic, and memorable character. Aribeth is frustrating, and at the same time, endearing on some level. She is voiced by Wendee Lee. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0283253/

http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20070427010610/forgottenrealms/images/2/2e/Aribeth_de_Tylmarande.jpg

Neverwinter Nights 2: Kelemvor Lyonsbane. The current Forgotten Realms god of the dead. He is actually from the first expansion, Mask of the Betrayer, and is the narrator of the campaign. Most either love him or hate him, with few in between. I'm part of the former group. ;) On the surface, he appears to be a fairly static NPC with a stubborn streak. However, his dialogue is extremely well-written, and upon examination reveals the complexity of his character. He has the strange ability to - with mere words - make you feel stupid and immature, vile and despicable, or wise and courageous (depending on how you play). He is voiced by Rodger Bumpass...yep, you guessed it: Squidward from Spongebob Squarepants. Although, you never would know it without someone telling you - Bumpass's voice acting is excellent and he is almost completely unrecognizable. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0120309/

I may add more characters as I think of them. :)

Yes, Martin Spetim was a reluctant hero who embraced his destiny.

I yet to play Never Winter Nights but I will add it to my list of games to play before I vacate this Earth.

My Second of Bloodlines would be Betrum Tung:

This guy to me anyways was Neutral aswell, he just played along with the whole Masquerade and enjoyed himself.

And too me, he is a handsome Nosferatu with the Strong chin and nose etc:

Where people see ugleyness, I see Strengh and Knowledge.

/photo/my-images/705/93502010.jpg/]http://img705.imageshack.us/img705/3924/93502010.jpg[/url]

Come one! Nosferatu look damn good when too Bertram Tung. "minus the Left head growth thin going on :P"

Nosferatu have string chins, heavy brow's and crooked but chacertered noses.

Thier eress depend on thier cheracter.

I do not know if his is 6 years too late detailing Nosferatu but fookit.

----

Vampires need to know that most humans in the 2011 era are more understanding and agreeable of the blights of judging a person by his appearance.

BUT there is STILL a VERY select few who WILL always troll and berate you regardless.

Nice thread!

My 1. favorite is Garrus Vakarian

Voiced by Brandon Keener.

His voice is absolutely amazing, you get immersed in the game when you hear him talking.

It's hard to describe him, so I'll just say he's a charming guy with a great voice.

http://images3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100323054857/masseffect/images/3/36/Garrus_Character_Shot.png

My second favorite is Ezio Auditore da Firenze

Voice acted by Roger Craig Smith

His story is one of my favorites today, seeing him being born and developing into a full adult, and full master Assassin.

He fights for good, but with finesse and a touch of badass added to it.

Master Chief. Shooting stuff is fun, and he has an awesome voice actor even though he only talks a few times during the series.

Ezio Auditore da Firenze as well.

Ah... NWN. The only game that allows you to lose in 10 sec. lol

Okay, okay... Back to topic

My fav... well I have many favs because many VAs do a great job. But I'll name 2

Varric Tethras: Dragon Age II

VA: Brian Bloom

http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110217121533/dragonage/images/1/11/Varric.png

Bloom makes dwarves come to life. He voiced many BioWare NPC, including Leske and Dwyn. The reason I love him is that Mary Kirby (writer for Varric and Merrill also Loghain and Sten in Origins) did an excellent job at making an lovable companion. Honestly I don't think I can hate the guy, Bloom does a great job.

Morrigan: Dragon Age: Origins

VA: Claudia Black

http://images.wikia.com/dragonage/images/d/dd/Morrigan_profile.jpg

This woman can make people dance around on their feet. Seriously give her any role and she can act them with perfect ease (Black also voiced the Illium Bar Keeper and Admiral Xen ME2). She has such great range and I'm glad they cast her for the role. Also lets not forget the writer, David Gaider, who writes well known, lovable characters and also wrote Aribeth in NWN. Kudos to him for making my favourite romance so far.

Overall, voice actors make or break characters as well as writers. Lets not forget the casting directors who gaves these roles to them. Without them making the call, we may not remember many characters as we do today. I do have many more but there is something about these 2 that I love (that and I don't have enough space for all).

Jiub, he drove the Cliff Racers from Morrowind which automatically makes him a legend.

OK, maybe not.

http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/4852/hk47gr8.jpg

Lucas gave us Jar Jar binks, Bioware gave us HK47.

Kudos to Bioware for yet another great character.
