Nintii
Well after watching the nail-biting match between South Africa vs Wales ... final score being ZA 17 - Wales 16 ... I realised that the team who wants it most ultimately gets it ... and the Welsh were no pushovers, hats off to you Wales.Unfortunately my ISP is having a serious problem with the local area exchange being down and it's taking me forever to open links etc., so I'm ending this post here. @Billyro ... good luck mate ... you've got the easiest Pool ... Pool C, but let's wait and see what the Americans can do, perhaps the Irish are gonna make you wish you had a leprechaunand but hey wait, there's more, newcomers Russia might just surprise everyone, as for the Italians, you guys are going to run 9 types of lasagna around them ... Of course the best part is that Wales had a penalty kick disallowed even though video replay shows it was good  --- whoops I mean thats the worst part, obviously  --- unless you're South African. Or English. Or a south-africanised Englishman, like me :psyduck:. Go Bokke. Come on England. (2007 final was conflicting for me)
dunmermaiden
Well for those in NZ whom were at the event, from what I've read be glad you were not there. Absolute Chaos What People Have Said I am glad I didn't make the trip to Auckland, it's a national disgrace and I am throughly embaressed by it. Nintii
Anybody watch the Canada Vs Tonga game?? It's amazing how fast rugby is growing in Canada. Article. Yup, that was a good game ... (love the beards), I just hope the Canadians can give the French a run for their money in today's match ... the French backline looks a bit sluggish, but their front rows are quick. But in watching the replay of France vs Japan, I reckon if the Canadians are fit, they could pull it off.I'm off to watch the match, it's starting in 9 minutes time. Here are the highlights of the Tonga vs Canada match .... Highlights Take note of the Wales vs Samoa game, there should be a lot of running and I'll be watching the scrums for a bit of power play. PaladinRider
Yup.. we got a couple of lumberjacks on our side. I've played against two of the Canadian players, in university rugby and in club (summer leagues). In 13 minutes I'll be watching the rerun of the Fiji vs South Africa game... I missed it this morning. EDIT: Looks like Japan will be a very winnable game, and definitely hope we give France a run for their money. Nintii
Ooops, my bad, it was the wrong 10:30 hehehehhe ... (Canada vs France). Anyhow, the Wales vs Samoa game was pretty physical, and as I said (I'm so chuffed), the powerplays in the scrums were really Welsh power all the way and Priestland's first conversion was just fantastic bouncing on the crossbar. It was a good game ... the first win for Wales over the Samoans ever. Nintii
What a shocker ... Ireland beating Australia, no one saw that coming ... Hmmm but I was thrilled with the South Africa vs Fiji game ... ZA 49 vs Fiji 3 ...whahooooooooooooo. I was a bit disappointed or should I say disheartened with the Canada vs France game ... I would have loved to have seen the mountain men from the north flatten the French but it wasn't to be.Oh well, the Canadians can go away with the experience, honestly though, the French really played well and so hats off to them.
