Yes, the kkk are democrats and always have been. Everyone with the kkk you will ever hear of will pledge their allegiance to the democratic party. It is because of the principles of government influence that the democratic party believes in.

Also, yes the Nazi's believed in total government control of every aspect of their lives. Like the democrats today in the united states who want to socialize everything. This is common knowledge. If you will look at my chart on page one, you will see that the nazi's believe in collectivism, the principle driving force of the democratic party in the united states today. The only difference between facism and communism is that one believes that culture should influence law and the other believes it is the other way around.

The original republican party is nothing like the current one. Abraham Lincoln did not end slavery. I would argue Abraham Lincoln was one of the worst US presidents to date, but that's for another topic.

 

What republican wrote the civil rights bill? There is status posted by someone else that showed more democrats voted for the bill then republicans. Not sure what thread that is in. I will try to find it.

 

George Wallace was the governor of Alabama. That could of been almost anyone and the same thing would have happened.

 

LBJ program was a complete mistake. Hes is in no way racist for doing what he did, he was trying to help.

I am not sure what your saying about Fascism and Communism. They are nowhere near the same.

 

Just because we want to socialize certain programs does not mean we want to take away freedom. I don't know why so many people make that connection.

Also don't be afraid to say that Hitler had a several socialist schemes, He also had many capitalist and conservative policies too. He also had 2 legs. In all the countries I have lived in, and in fact probably all countries have several socialist schemes. The main one being state run military.

Facism spawned from communism. This is common knowledge. They both believe in collectivism where the state controls all aspects of individual life. This is not a hard concept. Thats why they named themselves national socialists.

There are left wing policies in there. How he handled unemployment and created a lot of public works could be considered left, compulsory Hitler youth program, it's state organisisations. They also appropieated a lot of business and manufacturing to be state controlled. However that is crossed wartime need, and during that time, if you consider things like the ten years of state rationing which was instituted in the UK by a conservative government as socialist then yeah, sure some left. Don't see what difference it makes to either left or right policies.

Fascism is far less left in it's policy than socialism. afaik about the only thing economically left about fascists was state intervention in monetary exchange, aka sales tax.

Why Nazism was socialism

 

There's a good article for you marharth, that explains the socialist policies of Hitler and the Nazis - de facto government control of the means of production, control of what is produced, price and wage controls, heavy police state to control the people.

 

Sounds very like socialism to me. I suspect that it has always been convenient to label the Nazis as right wing fascists rather than socialists, as it is an uncomfortable thing for the "Communist" side of socialism, to admit that so many of their policies were alike.

Like it or not, good, intelligent, compassionate people disagree when it comes to politics. It does not make them nazis, it does not make them fascists.
