Dazaster
Cut off your toe. Swelling gone. Problem solved. Alternatively just wait. The swelling will go down in a few days. To avoid it happening again : cut your toenails properly, wear decent shoes From Wikipedia:Causes may include: Bad nail-care, including cutting the nail too short, rounded off at the tip or peeled off at the edges instead of being cut straight across[6]Ill-fitting shoes, as those that are too narrow or too short can cause bunching of the toes in the developmental stages of the foot (frequently in those under 21), causing the nail to curl and dig into the skin
Lisnpuppy
Don't leave the ice on more than 15 min at a time. Also...just so you know. OOoooo, yeah, good point, nothing better than a bag of frozen corn, or peas, wrapped in a towel. Conforms nicely to the foot. Good Call Lisnpuppy.
