Why are a lot of armor mods for H cup models?

The armors for the H cup models are so awesome but...if your'e a modder that only makes H cup versions of it is it fine if you can make a any version with lower breast sizes? Sorry if this has been asked before I'm new to this game >_< haha 5 plus years later and I just started playing oblivion

I myself am at a loss as to why so many consumers prefer to look at women with H cup sized busts. To me, women like that look monstrous and deformed. I feel sorry for them. They look like they are diseased or something. That is not how humans are naturally built. You generally don't see it except in severely obese women or perhaps women suffering from tumors. In recent years, many women have undergone breast reduction surgery because they suffer back pain related to having an excessive bust size.

 

It was interesting to me when they finally got around to reducing the sizes of the bosom of the Barbie doll. Barbie dolls had a ridiculous and unnatural shape. The new shape is more anatomically correct. Young women felt that something was wrong with them when they compared their figures to that of a Barbie doll. But in fact, almost no women have the body proportions of an old-style Barbie doll.

 

Anthropologists have puzzled over the way culture has changed such that the focus on feminine attraction has shifted over time from the bustle to the bust. I am sure that you have heard about how in ancient China, women would cover the back of their necks because that is what really drove men wild. In some Muslim countries, there is a great emphasis on women not revealing their ankles, because men would not be able to control themselves and would become overly aroused if they saw them.

 

In my opinion the figures of female characters using the vanilla Oblivion body are a bit overbuilt. Like if I am walking down the street of the town I live in, 100% of the women I see are most certainly not going to be built like the women in Oblivion. I would probably only encounter one or two on a long walk. So since the vanilla Oblivion body is already out of touch and overly fantastic, it is a source of wonder to me that people build mods to exaggerate these characteristics even beyond what the professionals at Bethesda did.

 

But each person has their own idea of distaff beauty. That mine is closer to the existing physiological norm is neither here nor there.

Just give them two some kilograms of balls with size of watermelon, and order them to wear the balls 24/7.

While I more or less agree with what is said here, I would like to offer one possible explanation for the proliferation of H-cups and the exaggerated boob size in general. This is essentially a cartoon we are talking about here and therefore a caricature.

What I have found in my own creations is that if I want something to standout in the game world then I need to make it larger than life. If I make something to a real life scale it will have a tendency to blend in to the background and be unnoticeable.

 

So I would guess that the guys who want the big boobs would be dissatisfied with a realistically scaled bosom even if it were a accurate representation of a well endowed real life woman, because a toon needs to be larger than life.

 

I just thought I would put that forward for what its worth and for no particular reason. :cool:

I believe there are people who play the game using sex-mods and better bouncing breasts mod that tend to favor the ludicrousness of bodies like that.

 

I personally feel it's ridiculous and definitely on the sick side... (kind of like cartoon pr0n) but people are going to make what they are going to make. Not much you can do about it really on a site that accepts everything (well except copyrighted material) regarding mod-hosting except seperate things like that into an adult-only area, which they mostly do already.

 

If you find something particularly cool in an adult mod or an "H-Cup" only mod then ask the modder if they will release a version without it or if you could modify the resource yourself. If they say no then thems the breaks kid.

 

So really, not much to fuss over in the end.

If you don't like it, don't download it. If you don't like it, make your own FFS.

Crap like this has been asked way too many times on this forum. "Omg too much revealing armor", "omg too much anime", "omg too much breasts", "omg too much 18+ stuff". There's a thread dedicated to underage clothing mods, go search that up.

Wow... He isn't even the one who said any of that. Way to knee-jerk, buddy.

 

On the subject of model modification though, this is a sticky spot. The larger the breasts are, the harder they are to remove or shrink on a mesh without making existing textures look weird, or just the model in general. At least in the small amount of experience I have.

So it sounds like editing the models to reduce bust measurements would turn into not just a Blender project, but a project that required Blender, plus Gimp to edit the distorted textures, plus Nifskope to edit the UV maps to apply the new textures properly to avoid warpage and stretching.

Seriously...what's wrong with C cup? Or B cup for that matter?

Those are the armors I prefer.

 

Takes a lot of work to narrow an H cup armor to something smaller. Not just with a 3D moddler, but those textures need to be trimmed and fitted. A good 5-8 hour job on some of the more extravagant ones...Blender and Gimp can both do the trick (and are free to boot), but you're going to need a day or two off from work to finish it, haha! Nifskope might also come in handy. (and it is also quite free.)

 

Can you believe I found a site that actually modded regular C and D armors to be HHH? I was like "Holy Crap!" xP Eye bleach, yes?
