Aurielius
You can assume what ever you like. In the past handguns have been readily available to me, I have been offered them many times. As for the Ak, I don't know if I still can get one, I don't know if anyone else can either.Thats not what you said, for someone who loves to point logical inconsistencies would you care to reconcile these two statements? I am 200% positive I wouldn't have to look very hard to get a gun. Mac 10s, AKs, all present and accounted for." "I wouldn't know where anyone would get an AK these days. Not sure how easy they are to get either." The latter half of the former implies knowledge of access and the second denies knowledge of the same.I'll clarify: I can get guns, that I am certain of. Seeing as I know assaults have been available, I might even be able to get an AK too. I'm not going to ask around to see what is going on just to satisfy you.Clarification is not reconciliation of opposing statements unless of course the clarification is partial retraction of one. You made the assertions of fact and am simply holding you your own words as you so love to do to others. It's actually not hard to say you were in error, that would end it. Ghogiel
Since I am not willing to bother anyone to find out if an AK or some such is for sale for the sake of your poxy forum war, I will make a partial retraction, insert: I am 200% positive I wouldn't have to look very hard to get a gun. I have even seen Mac 10s and AKs for sale, and there is no reason for me to doubt I still couldn't get one.
draconix
I've never gone into an Ammu-Nation that didn't sell AKs. Edited October 4, 2011 by draconix
Kendo 2
Aurielius, CLASSIC! Just for clarification; a junky shooter AK goes for about $530.00 in cash or trade. The later model Soviet era Yugoslavians are the best, btw. Real MAC-10s are super freaking rare and heavily regulated (since the 1960's). I know Title2 holders and THEY can't get their hands on them. The only thing someone selling guns out their trunk might get their hands on is a craptastic 9mm knockoff and the blowback will spray your face with chamber gases when you shoot it. NOT that I would know anything about firearms or where to get them or who to go to or how much to pay or how to avoid, etc... And I own one pistol and the jack-booted Government can come a take the one pistol they know about. I'll gladly give it to them without a fuss. I'm all for guns, the more the merrier. grannywils
Thank you Kendo. At least you are a man we can count on to provide facts and not fabrication. Appreciate it.
dazzerfong
One thing to those asking for 'self-defense': which is better for home defense, a shotgun or an assault rifle? Please don't use the presumption of 'self defense' to purchase a machine gun, please? So, guys, enough flaming and back to topic on hand, if you don't mind? So, guys, enough flaming and back to topic on hand, if you don't mind?Pump Shotgun hands down best choice, has spread pattern, won't kill the neighbors by going through walls and across the street and is forgiving of poor marksmen. And last but not least a pump shotgun has a distinctive sound that would give pause to anyone who has ever heard one..meaning time to leave now. Kendo 2
Gotta go with a 12gauge (Mossberg 500 series) with an 18" barrel and a folding stock so you can maneuver in tight spots and not have a large profile. Since most rooms are small the 18" barrel will force a spread quickly and cover a large area. Point it down the hall and watch things die. I'd use 7 1/2 birdshot so you wont shoot through walls. And take the restricter out of the magazine tube so you can rack two extra shells. Answer your question?
marharth
The funny thing is that the price of a ak47 had nothing to do with the topic :whistling:
