I commented these exact words on DOOMBASEDs Modular Kalash Assault Rifle mod:

 

"Why is the charging handle and safety on the left side of the weapon in your mod?

I personally wish people would start making more realistic weapons for FO4. We need modders who have knowledge on firearms.

Some people are sensitive, some people are just douches, and some of us are just assholes. Accept it and move on.

 

To answer the question, noone can create custom animations as Havok is required and microslut does not sell havok to the public anymore. As such they have to use the default assault rifle animation for custom assault rifle models.

While I do agree that it would be nice to have more modders with an actual knowledge of firearms & it would be nice if someone at Bethesda had more knowledge then what they have seen on TV you do have to realize your getting the content for free.

 

 

PS: Personally I am waiting for someone with knowledge of firearms to do a true overhaul of the weapons system in F4. The sheer amount of stupidity that it contains is just staggering.

There's several good examples with FO NV.

Making a weapon look realistic should be easy as pie if you actually take the time to study the look and design closely. Animations are a completely different story, we know that.

Just as easy as getting banned for creating alt accounts to circumvent a ban from a mod author.

I might also add that the mod authors are fully within their right to block a user for any reason. While we recognize the fact that this feature might be abused by a few mod authors, the Nexus staff will not get involved, and any disagreement between the mod author and the blocked user must be settled via the private messaging system.
