Iv000
About the 6Gb file size:https://twitter.com/#!/DCDeacon/status/129252912584073218 "6 gigs: New engine & we’re much better at compression (art/voice/data). It’s huge yet more optimized than we’ve had before. And faster."

Nightwolfhunter
Why do we need a quad core if the other specs are so low? i don't think I have anything to worry about, even with my dual cores, because I cna run The Witcher 2 just fine on High. elderiii
Hopefully it means that the game is capable of recognizing and using 4 (or more) threads. If so it will run significantly better on a quad core, hence the recommendation. I'm not counting on that, but it is the trend these days and for the future as well. AurianaValoria1
I'm not really sure about my specs (I'm not that technically inclined when it comes to computers  ). Will I be able to handle max settings in Skyrim with my comp? Intel i7 Processor (not sure about number of cores)8GB RAM ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics card I can't remember all of the specifics...is there any way I can pull them up from the control panel or something? The i7 is either a quad or hexa core. Either way is good.8Gb of ram is more then enough. The 5770 is similar in performance to the 4870. (Recommended is 4890, though a 4870 is fairly similar.) I'm sure you will be able to play it on high/very high.
