direelite1134
I plan to try to help my girlfriend understand how amazing it is, and convert her to a gamer. Lofty asperations lol
xaliqen
I plan to try to help my girlfriend understand how amazing it is, and convert her to a gamer. Lofty asperations lol Not necessarily as impossible as you might think. Knights of the Old Republic was what I used at the time, and it worked fantastically well. That was six years ago now, and there are times when I feel she's become more of a gamer than I am. Edited October 30, 2011 by xaliqen

Lofty asperations lol Co-Op Portal 2 works a charm. though be warned getting your significant other into computer games can really backfire, just like us they can become addicted. And with computationally intensive games my partners would get a bit ticked off at how much more powerful my gaming rig was than their laptop*, and they would ask me to upgrade it - which of course is a bit of a joke really, there isn't much in a laptop you can change unless it is a really high end one in the first place. *not to mention the NEC 30" monitor that I use for photographic work - which is also used for gaming never fails to draw attention. Edited October 30, 2011 by shadow_scale9180

chikawowwow
You can get a new wife in Skyrim, and she will not complain about how much time you spend playing video games because there are no video games in Skyrim, but there are dragons, and being the only dragon born stud in town, I seriously doubt she is going to give you a hard time about whatever it is you care to spend your time doing. She will always love and respect you, even if you chose to join the Dark Brotherhood. Skyrim wives are the best wives. I can't wait! Well, to give a balanced account, Skyrim wives/husbands will also require you to wear an amulet--which will likely conflict with your colour coordinated armor. You will also receive either pitty, disgust or an attempt to mentally help you should you feel any emotion towards your Skyrim wife. It should also be noted that Skyrim is cold, so I doubt having the soul of a dragon helps with defeating the lord of shrivelling isles. Just saying. What's with the insults towards henderse? Wasn't intended to be insulting, need to remember to put 'Lol' or 'LMAOSHMSFOAIDMT' to differentiate between jokes and insults. EDIT: Lol.

adrianwar
I think it is wrong to put a game above a relationship. Also why do you assume that all gamers are either male, or have wives and girlfriends? I hate to bring down your men's parade, but I am a 19 year old FEMALE with a 31 year old MALE counterpart. He realizes I have grown up with TES since Morrowind, and that I love them. I also have a one year old daughter...does that mean Im going to throw her to the side for weeeks..hell no. You all are childish and ignorant, if you cannot find a balance, then you shouldnt have your relationships. Yes I quite understand that this is game of the century let alone the freaking year (and I did call off 3 days after it) But it is not the point. It is a game. Im sure Todd would understand if you got out of your "man cave" to smooch your lady and say you love her :) I hope you fall off your high horses and get trampled by them.
