I'll be honest: I'm not sure how much I'd trust Bethesda to put all of Tamriel in a single game considering they can only barely portray the individual regions realistically one at a time.

I mean, can you imagine how compressed the scale would have to be just to make that manegable? Because if they made it to the same scale and detail they are working with now, we are talking about a game that would require nine times the time and effort they put into games like Oblivion and Skyrim. Skyrim took three years to make, and Oblivion was planned for three years of development as well but ended up being delayed for an additional year. Fallout 3 took four years to make.

That means Elder Scrolls: Tamriel would take 27 years to complete bare minimum. 36 years if we want a game that isn't rushed.

If anything, I think focusing on a smaller region would be preferable because that means they can work with a more realistic scale. Personally, the weird scale in these games has always bothered me.

All of Tamriel=Never running on a console. You'll never see all of Tamriel again in a SP ES. By the time something like all of Tamriel could be possible, ES will be a linear FPS action game. Especially with the way the series has been going since after Morrowind. Edited by Enatiomorph

couldnt agree more, the time scale for one studio to make the entirety of tamriel isnt feasible, if we ever want to see a complete tamriel we would have to make it ourselves, which we can do people just have to put the time and effort which for one person or even a samll group of people would be astronomical to make something akin to Skyrim

Until a while ago, I would like either Akavirii, Summerset Isles or Blackmarsh. But after checking the the Khajiit sub-races in uesp, I would be interested in Elsweyr. That is of course assuming Bethesda doesn't screw the sub-races and make all the Khajiit similar. The others are still valid for me though, especially Summerset. Edited by Guest
