KnorKater
FFS, I don't even use their stupid mod page. I just want to play the game.... Same here. A shame we can't just opt out of updates to prevent having our modded games rendered unplayable because of some useless minor update. Instead of addressing one of the many, many bugs this game has, no, it's just another update for their ingame mod manager. Just leave the game bugs for the community to fix... -.- If their next game is using the same old crappy engine AGAIN, I sure as hell am not gonna buy it. jjb54
I do not know if the authors of FO4 - SE read these? But on the slim chance they do:Could you put a Date / Time stamp on the versions you have ready? IE: not beta version: date / timeIE Beta Version: Date / Time This way we know when Beth does these Ninja updates, we know if we can play our game. I tried the current Beta Version to no avail. :sad:they put the game version on the file? what does the date matter? Fallout 4 runtime 1.5.205 - Current build: 0.1.14 Fallout 4 beta runtime 1.5.210 - Current build: 0.1.15 To let us know - if the Beta or ... is current or not? Just makes it easier to know: IE : Fallout 4 runtime 1.5.205 - Current build 0.1.14 ( 5/5/2016 ) date is fictional.IE : Fallout 4 Beta runtime 1.5.210 - Current Build 0.1.15 ( 6/1/2016 ) Date is fictional. This was we have a quicker POV to see if they released a version for the current Ninja Update: IE: Fallout 4 Beta runtime 1.5.2xx - Current Build 0.1.xx ( 6/13/2016 ) Date is fictional. That way we know that with Today's date, it is "current" and "current" has a meaning.
jjb54
The ninja patch is plain and simple preping the game for the 3 new DLCs Beth is releases starting next week there are 3 new offical DLCs coming at us one June 21st one in July and one in August I've already preordered 2 of the 3 If what I saw on ... I would not call those "DLC" - so much as I would call them "expansion packs", just like "Wasteland Workshop" is not what I would call "DLC" - but an "expansion pack". Based on the expansion packs of FO-3 and FO-NV and what they called Expansion Packs.
wavion2
Just a FYI, you can actually right-click and view the properties of Fallout4.exe. The version will actually be shown there, under the Details tab. Edited June 13, 2016 by wavion2

greentea101
I've been running the game continuously since at least yesterday, alt-tabbing out of it when not playing, and sleeping the system instead of shutting down. Not that I knew a patch was coming, but that's one way to prevent Steam from updating. :)
ginnyfizz
I am getting really fed up with this game and the constant patching for things that I don't even use... damned stupid flaming Bethesda.net.Back to TW3 I guess...
Thicketford
I'd like to thank the F4SE team for letting me actually play the game. I'm a southpaw gamer (use the left analogue stick to look), and F4SE lets me swap the thumbsticks.
NorthWolf
In case it goes missing in the sea of new topics, I thought I should mention that there's a way to stop Fallout 4 from automatically updating if you only launch through F4SE.

I mean I get it more convenience, but its so easy to just open the folder and check the .exe to realize neither of those would work as the current version is 1.5.307.
