cossayos
A real problem I ran into after patch 1.5. Opening pip boy or placing something in workshop can turn into the fast track to the desktop. Not so fast, actually, the gme hangs for 20 to 30 seconds first. But it's really turning into a nuisance. If anything the recent patches have made my game more unstable than it was at release. I hardly ran into CTDs in november and even gave Bethesda credit for finally creating a stable game. Now it's back to the good old times of Bethesda games. tk423
*edit* found out that its the DEF_UI that makes it crash for me, disabled and working fine now.I installed DEF_UI a while ago but have since removed it and I'm currently encountering some of the issues described above. Severe lag with Pip-Boy. I uninstalled the mod but noticed all the item tags are still in game. Did I miss something? I uninstalled every UI/Tag mod I had. Could there be files left over somewhere other than Data?
cossayos
I haven't got any UI mods installed.
chucksteel
Are you sure about that? look in your data folder to make sure you don't have any files under Data/Interface these files will be .swf files. Mods such as full dialogue interface are still UI mods but don't come with .esp's. (that is only an example and I'm not saying it's the cause of the issue)

I don't even have an interface folder inside data. And yet it keeps crashing.
