noahdvs
It probably cost slightly less than Far Harbor because it cost Bethesda less to make. Edited June 29, 2016 by noahdvs
CyrusAmell
I did not think production costs would be factored in such a way. If the developers thought they could get away with pricing it at $25 then why wouldn't they? Still, I will reserve judgment until I get to play the DLC. Whatever one might say about the DLC, the season pass at $30 was definitely worth it.
snapper69
I was more than slightly annoyed when I went onto Steam to buy the latest workshop DLC and saw the Nuka World one was on sale as well. I bought it, not realising that it was out in August, so I've shelled out £13.99 ( or whatever it was) for something that I can't use until August. Why isn't it marked as Pre-Order? CyrusAmell
It was on sale before its own release? That can't be a good sign. Being priced at less than Far Harbor, I was expecting a slightly less bracing experience. But for it to go on sale before release I cannot help but feel that someone high up may not of had faith in their product. Then again, perhaps so many players purchased the Season Pass at $30 that this was considered a suitable tactic to increase sales among those players who had not yet purchased the SP. I still hold out hope that the finished product is just enough of what we like to bring together Fallout 4 in a good way. While mods can do it all for free, I do wish the new dlc would include a tweaked crafting system for legendary components or maybe a better Settler system so we are not stuck waiting hours for settlers to come to our workshops via the recruitment beacon. However, if the new raider gang system is fun enough, and more new and interesting weapons are introduced, then this will be a DLC worth the price of admission. CyrusAmell
Maybe there is a "neutral" raider faction that can be turned around by the player and be shown a better way. I think it would be a while before the Minutemen back home ever accepted such "volunteers," but even in the real world such serious concessions need to be made for peace.
