LoginToDownload
Looks incredible! I could never have the patience or skill for something like that... And you probably could've put them all on at once using Photobucket or somesuch... :P
Triforce1
As usual, the voice of reason. I guess it's that patience thing that is holding you back, huh? Well, time is of little issue. Over the summer I am going to be working on a computer animation project, so there is no rush. This thing would take a long time anyway. So you could script bit by bit; yeah? I'm done begging...but I cannot express enough how great it would be to have an experienced scripter such as yourself involved in this... ... Oh, alright... PLEASE !!! Then again, maybe a more humorous approach...It's time for the DANCING BANANA!!!
rickythecat
"Time for the dancing banana"? Please. I believe you are referring to Peanut Butter Jelly Time. In any case, you have a lot to learn about convincing people, Triforce. Allow me. Ahem. JOKE. COERCE. BOAST. COMPLIMENT. Bribebribebribe. Bribe. RUMORS? Now what do you say? Hmm? Tempted to reveal more information about the Gray Fox, perhaps?
Triforce1
Hmm. I like your style, Cat. So Login, has his Oblivion-based persuasion convinced you? (Even if he did make fun of the banana...)
madman132
I see dead people... No wait, actually, i see no people. Could be due to them not been made yet. Or maybe they all have enchanted gear with 100% Chameleon  I do see a great tree, may i suggest that you use it as the Point where Townsfolk would gather to exchange the News of the Day? "News" like "Its our natural Borders that keep us safe, mostly..." "Hi there!""Whats going on with you?""Good Bye""Bye" I love standing around that Tree, hearing townsfolk exchanging their "News" :D
Triforce1
Yeah, that tree is going to be the center of the town. The townsfolk will gather there as they do in Chorrol. And many of them will also pass through the bazaar on a daily basis, too. RickytheCat is working on the people, and some unique new clothes, too. We've also come up with a crazy guy who lives in the tree and is obsessed with it. It might be an interesting idea to create some new conversations, though. Like the general state of the city. If the city is cut off from Cyrodiil except for the riders, then it wouldn't do to have the people talking about events in other cities...So, thought any on those side quests? rickythecat
Hey, I had an idea. Maybe one part of the city could be something of a Merchant Quarter, and would be just a large open-air marketplace with all sorts of unique and useless vendors! Licks-His-Nose could run the whole scene, and generally be head honcho. All the minor merchants would have minor squabbles with each other, and, if the player is infamous, might as him to steal from a rival shop. Overall, I think it would be a really fun place to be. Is it possible? I'd be happy to provide characters and dialogue.
Triforce1
PERFECT!! I will begin work on that in the morning. Picture stalls similar to Nose's, but totally surrounding the base of the tree. The shadow of the tree can house all of the shops in the town; Nose's can just be the tip of the Grand Bazaar! (Needs a better name, though.) And the tree fellow can even drop down at night and steal from a different shop each night! Cat, I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I like the way you think. But you will need to get really creative with the people...NO ORCS! I hate those things...
cazaam
I think that the city looks great but if i can add...It looks the same as most others. of course its bigger and all that and it has a bazaar but at the mo it doesnt have that wow factor for me. Something i have being thinking for a while, what if the city was in "sections" but still an open city. For example, theres the bazaar or market in the city centre, the "Rich folk" at the top of the city, the slums withs theives and murderers in a specific placeand so on. :mage: heheAlso, the daedra attacking, why are they pirates? get that guy to make up a story for that. i think that it should stray from pirates to, attackers thatn arrived by ship and have not much to do with piracy. Triforce1
Yeah, I love that dragon too. Anyway, I first apologize; I was using the term "pirates" because they were simply attackers who arrived by ship...and that was too long to say every time. As to your "a city divided" idea, I like it. HOWEVER, I already have the houses placed (as is obvious). Now, the area under the tree; that whole place will be the bazaar. But other than that, there really are no social tiers. Because of the long isolation of the city, no social classes could really develop. Everyone lives how they want to live. Maybe it sounds boring at the time, but everyone pretty much gets along...After a little while. I was toying with the idea that the city could be in utter chaos when you first arrive, and then you must clean up the town so that the people recognize your power. By the time the quests were through, you would be the master of a self-contained metropolis. Oh yeah, and by that I mean the farms and vineyards that are on the surrounding crater edges. Quick remark: I am going to try and make the castle at the high point of the city...
