rickythecat
Oh, I was just altering the pre-existing maps in NifSkope so that I could do something tricky on the texture. It turned out to be a bit of an unfortunate decision when viewed in-game.

QQuix
A custom mesh for the bridge that has pilons standing in the middle of nothingWhat about a similar bridge upside down under the existing one? Will have to play with the scale a little bit. May be easier and may not look that bad.(Would be nice to have some patrolling dragons flying thru the holes)Something like this:
ihateregisteringeverywhere
The idea is good, but the problem with this construction is that it's realy tall and it has another bridge visible from the bottom if you're riding a dragon, creating a custom bridge realy shouldn't be that much of a problem. I'll give it more though once the interiors are finished. After all the city will be the cornerstone of this project the thing a player will look at most often - and therefore it's trademark, super high quality is a must because even if everything else would be top notch the project itself would be signed off as average at best or amateurish at worst. Edit: removed the cheese :D
jroin
:bunny: Yay..., Whoo..., I got my scanner back to work  (....again.... <_< >_>) How...? you wonder..? By throwing it out of a window and buaing a new one  So here's the "Dragon" air-ship That I was talking aboud. "Asamsiwa" I'm not a 100% satisfided myself..., But I guess it'll have to do. I hope I don't dissapoint you guys whit such a crappy scetch.., though. Things I'm not pleased with: -The Baloon is to small in compearison with the ship-The lenght of the baloon, it should be longer at the back-The tail section, the lower Bone is To horisontaly placed, it should be diagonaly down P.s The texture of the baloon should be the same as the front and back sections.a list of sugjested materials is on the sketch

Reepimeister
The only thing is the combination between a fantasy hull/balloon and that steam punk generator thing in the middle. The two don't really do well with each other. I would keep to one or the other. Maybe some sort of magickaish theme on that generator could look cool. It also doesn't really have a dwemer/dwarven style. Color might change my mind on that but the wings, ropey-clothey thingey and top of the balloon seem a bit... more oblivionish... My critique is very picky, so feel free to ignore. I love the drawing, no matter what I say.

Well the furnace is used to heat the air in the balloon.., It's probbably the only piece of (original) Dwemer engineering. As for the overall designe.., It's not called a DRAGON Air-ship for nothing, you know. The balloon is made from dragon leather and stiffened with the bones, the head of the "lucky" dragon is mounted on front and reanimated with Dwemer magics..., those wings are used to make more agile manoeuvres, the tail is only for a more stable flight. maybe a paire of balistas should be mouted on the deck to fight of nasty things like, vengefull dragons, Deadrick flying machines or for ATG (air to ground) raids. There could be a quest with this ..., Like.., the gathering of raw materials (steal some wood, slay / skin a dragon.., you know.., the useual stuff)
Reepimeister
Okay, well justified. Looking again, though, I feel there should be more 'stuff' around it to make it look more magnificent. Pipes extruding out, bigger/more wings, more elaboration around the dragon head (and in general)... just random, needless things that make this more brutish. jroin
There could be portholes added with "Dwemer" canons..., like old 16th century sailing vessels
