Dark0ne
I've experienced problems with Skyrim Nexus as well, including the unresponsiveness and failing to load the site mentioned by others, while my internet connection is fine. What country are you in? Also I had problems editing the attributes of a file yesterday, quite strangely it was only with one of my files, it was impossible to make changes to the description, the version number and credits/permission section, it took long to submit and just didn't save anything. Later it worked fine again, if this problem comes back I'll let you know. This was because of the table corruption spoken of earlier. It should work fine now. Xenius
What country are you in? I'm from the Netherlands, it doesn't happen too often though, mostly it works fine but sometimes it won't load.
Dark0ne
Ok thanks. It's a "low load" time (but only 15% less traffic compared to last night...) and it seems to be running OK at the moment. Haven't had a timeout in quite a while. Tweaking is on going.
Dark0ne
We've made some more extensive tweaks and are currently seeing encouraging signs. Can you confirm you are seeing this too? For this first week or two my ethos is if you have to wait 5 seconds for a page to load it's not good, but it's not terrible, but if you can't connect at all...that's bad. The testing times are when the Americans are awake and back from work, so around 12am - 2am GMT. I'll be up again to monitor things.
GrizzlyUK
It doesn't seem too bad at the moment, been a couple hours since the last "The connection was reset" message. It's been a bit slow at times since then (as in taking a bit more than 5 seconds for a page to load), currently got Skyrim Nexus running in a 2nd tab and, sadly, as I'm typing this I just got another "The connection was reset" message! Hit the Reload Current Page button, and after 46 seconds the page did reload. Tried to go back to the main page and I get another "The connection was reset" message! Hit the Reload Current Page button again and this tiem the page reloaded almost immediately! I'm using FireFox v8.0 in case that's of any help.
XTR3M368
I was able to get a little further in but I still timeout after about 2 or three clicks in. Trying to read the comments about issues before downloading is frustrating as best. I am by Seattle, WA which is PST if where we are makes a difference. the other nexus sites work fine still for me. JimboUK
I'm also getting a lot of time outs, when it doesn't time out it's painfully slow. The premium servers are working fine though, well that's if you can get that far.
Dark0ne
Just to confirm are you talking about time outs downloading or time outs browsing the site?
JimboUK
Just to confirm are you talking about time outs downloading or time outs browsing the site? Both, with a few refreshes the page does eventually load. The premium servers themselves are fine, it tends to time out before connecting to them. Google tells me on their timed out page that "Others are having the same problem" or words to that effect.
Dark0ne
For me it goes through phases. For 5 - 10 mins the site loads blazingly fast. Instant page loads and content. Then for 5 minutes or so I might get a timeout, or slow page loads. Is it the same for you or is it just constantly bad?
