I met a dragon yesterday who didn't seem too happy to meet my acquaintance. After we parted ways, I proceeded to Riverwood by nightfall, catching a firefly and knocking down a bee hive with one of my arrows, a perfect alchemy collection for a novice I must say. When I finished stealing from the houses that I rudely decided to let myself into; I ran a few errands and made my way to Whiterun, stepping by to see the temple of Kynareth before later seeking out Riften, where I would discover the Thieves Guild, and, believe it or not, run into a very famous fellow throughout the Elder Scrolls games. The one, and only, M'aiq the Liar. So far, it has been a noble journey, and I bet that more are to come. :)

as i parted from the same town of which the dragon had so fiercely attacked, i wandered into a town much like the one you have described, i wild chicken appeared, and i quickly slaid the beast. one rather strong fellow came and began to initiate combat, i turned to flee, but it was futile as i was struck down by another large man.

moral of the story: don't f*** with chickens.

Lol, a wise moral indeed.

I spent ages wandering around the first town, impressed how the people there seemed less zombie-like and brain-damaged than the ones I'd met on previous adventures in Cyrodiil. I made friends with the local bard and we went to retrieve a golden claw for the owner of the general store. After returning with the claw and giving it back to the store owner, I sneaked back in late at night and stole it back again. I stayed the night with the man I escaped my execution with, and was attacked by hired thugs on leaving the house the next morning. After having the living daylights beat out of me over and over again, I prayed to the gods to make things less difficult (yes, the god of difficulty settings) since these thugs seemed quite superhuman. Then I killed these evil hirelings only to find that my bard friend lay dead at the entrance to town.

I left towards Whiterun, wanting to put this mess behind me, only to see some people fighting a large troll in a field. I ran over to help but the troll fell before I arrived and I was berated for not helping them out. They introduced themselves as the Companions, then left me alone in the field, finding them pretty arrogant for assuming I could've helped from half a mile away. I entered Whiterun, persuading the guards to let me in, and then fell asleep at the nearest inn. Well that was my first two days (at least as I remember them, who knows how long I spent in the dungeon trying to get the golden claw).

After I came out of the tutorial dungeon I started heading to Riverwood and I saw a hunter woman, at first I thought she may have been an enemy but when I got closer I saw that she was friendly and was shooting some animal. I tried talking to her but she was too busy shooting her bow then i saw her dog head towards me I thought it was a wolf or something so I attacked it... Then she starts attacking me, I tried to yield by pressing RMB and E.... Dunno if thats the command in skyrim but it was in oblivion but she continued to attack so I had to kill her and her dog lol. After that I went to Riverwood.... Then I talked to the quest guys and all that stuff.

First Skyrim day: I didn't look at the map and wandered the woods lost and scared :(

First day of playing: I was lost in the woods for a while and eventually saw a small town in the distance. Apparently the guy who told you to split up wanted you to meet him there...that makes sense. I eventually ended up doing a dungeon before I knew I was suppose to do it and ended up having to tell the guy "Oh, this thing?" which was awkward for some reason, not too sure why exactly.

Later on a dragon attacked us outside the guard tower to the west and I sat there in awe (and fear) as the guards killed it for me, apparently I was a hero there. Glad to be of help, sirs and madam!

After escaping that dreaded dragon, I parted ways from my bold companion and headed South to Markarth, teaching some manners to a haughty Redguard who thought his swordplay was better than mine and his armor would protect him from lightning.

Then I started doing quests and favors for people there, including avenging a poor little murdered girl.

I was taken to the village of Helgen, which honestly looked like it had already been through a dragon attack or two, after being mistaken for a Stormcloak (honestly, an Imperial citizen working for the Stormcloaks? Never!) and sentenced to death, but the Eight must have blessed me that day because a dragon appeared to blast some sense back into the Imperial soldiers. A soldier named Hadvar escorted me safely out of Helgen and to Riverwood. I talked to many of the locals, including a shopkeeper, who as I purchased a new outfit to replace my prison rags asked me to investigate a recent theft, and his daughter, a comely young lady being pursued by two suitors (neither of whom, in my opinion, deserved her). But all of that had to wait until the morning, because I hurried to the local inn, The Sleeping Giant, and purchased a hearty beef stew and an ale. I then purchased a room, then mistakenly wandered into a room which wasn't mine, before finally placing the weapons Hadvar had provided into a chest by my bed and drifting off to fitful sleep with nightmares of Nord ruffians in cloaks.

After I woke up, discovered the innkeeper was a thief and had entered my room during the night to relieve me of my sword, I sought a replacement weapon and was guided out of town by the shopkeeper's daughter and made my way to a nearby barrow.

Racked up a death toll of at least 3 companions. One was slain by Othar the mad, the other a frost when, and my first, a draugr wight. Currently killed at least 9 dragons, found many strange things in winter hold. And fused a rabbit off of high hrothgar, totally worth it.
