Mutant Boars

As usual, I was watching life after people, and one thing I noted was that it's predicted that one of the most successful domesticated species would be pigs in such a scenario. They are robust, intelligent omnivores that can survive in a wide variety of environments. They come in a wide range of sizes from a small dog, to some wild boars being damn near the size of a bear.

We have mutated cows, which is actually an unlikely survivor, but pigs one of the most apocalypse ready powerhouses are missing. What's an apocalypse without being gored by a giant man eating mutant boar.

Immerse me people, fill the commonwealth with the domestic monster made wild we should be seeing. Large, smart, and exceedingly dangerous. Mutant boars of the commonwealth.

There are already too many bores in this game. Wait, I spelled it wrong. I'll try again.

Interesting thought, Sampuppy.

Based off current farming, you may run into domestic-type swine, as well as boars and such

Then again, 200 years, you could very well see feral hogs, mutant boars, and more in the Commonwealth.

Chalk me up as interested.

EDIT: Further googling revealed that there are indeed farms in Massachusetts hosting boars and such, so I edited my statement.

I support this idea.

In fact, I haven't seen anyone mention it, but has anyone else noticed the Centaurs have vanished in FO4?

Instead, we get the Mutant Hounds. Which aren't bad, and I can understand the change.

But, honestly, this idea for some reason really makes me wish for a Mutant Boars replacer for Mutant Hounds.

And, of course, the random wild encounter. :)

(and whatever happened to giant ants?)

If I didn't love the way mutant hounds tongue lols out the side of their mouth I'd be all for it. I love my pet mutant hounds... can't they have both?

I would not be opposed. I just think it's something Muties would use, ya know?
