@zanity - You've completely misinterpreted my comment, sorry you didn't get the joke. Honestly though, you're comment is a stunning example of why I made that comment. Beth ninja updating their game and Steam making it automatic is a very small, minuscule thing to happen. You're making it out to be the end of the world that you can't play your game without F4SE. Yes it sucks, it affects me too, and I even paid full price for the game and its season pass. Mods like Place Everywhere and LooksMenu are essential for me. I'm not going to throw some tantrum like a child, I'll just move on to do something else. I can wait until the F4SE team uploads their patch, I have other things I can do. Its not hard, you can do it too.

 

@sirjohn45 - Same, but that's not how things work. Ultimately they don't have to if they don't want to. They're not making money off this, this is their free time that they do this. We're not entitled to F4SE, we're privileged to have it and the wonderful people that made it. Its the one thing now that separates pc modding of bethesda games and console mods of beth games.

We can play WITHOUT F4SE, but many of us choose not to. That's my call, so I can't blame anyone but myself if I don't play.....but that still doesn't mean I don't grumble about it.

I understand and I am on the side of the modders I know how long it takes them but as for F4se if they make it they need to be on top of it which they are to some degree. People get frustrated because mods now need F4se to work so when they added these updates then people have to wait until f4se is updated. So i can see both sides.

it sounds like there were some bugs taken care of but i think it was mostly for consoles....I have a feeling this is going to be a mess lol

Cut and pasted from their change log, with only the stuff we care about shown (I ditched all the crap about their mod system):

General stability and performance improvements

Fixed issue with weapons and armor losing mods and Legendary status when removed from armor and weapon racks (Contraptions)

So the only highlights for us pc users are the contraptions not eating legendary items (hurrah), though they didn't mention the second bug of items flat out disappearing if you store crap on mannequins or the like.

General stability and performance improvements - They really just need to not bother typing that out. If they can't give us at least a general idea at whats changed, its just gives folks anxiety about what they broke now.

F4SE has been updated to match the latest patch for Fallout 4. Achievements and Place Everywhere will be updated by the respective mod authors when they have a chance to.
