NMM insisting I don't have an ini file / mods not working

Well, I think I found the issue

 

I feel so dumb right now

 

For some stupid reason, when I created the Fallout4Custom.ini, I named it "Fallout4Custom.ini"

 

I should've just named it "Fallout4Custom"

 

After installing f4se, I realized what I did and renamed it

 

Seems to be in good working order now
