Beriallord
Why does it make you log in before you can use NMM? What if my connection is down and I just want to manage some mods? Other than this technicality, I like the program, and its functionality, I just don't like having to log in. I'm requesting a version that doesn't require a log in or internet connection. Beriallord
I'm requesting a version that doesn't require a log in or internet connection. If I'm missing something here, please explain. I know it has a download manager, which would require a login for files larger than 2mb. I am just pointing out that the other functions other than the download manager should be usable without logging in. Overall I like the mod manager, its worked on all but a few mods I've tried it on with skyrim.
Thandal
... I am just pointing out that the other functions other than the download manager should be usable without logging inIt was the "without an internet connection" that engendered my reaction. (File size and log-in were irrelevant.) But I see now that your real question is about using the Management functionality without the Download part at all.
Beriallord
I recently downloaded a texture pack that is nearly 200mb in size, I noticed how slow it was to download with the manager, so I stopped it and downloaded it manually, and got in in a few minutes. The manager sat there for nearly 30 minutes and was only to like 15%. It only seems to do this on the larger files, and not files that are much smaller in size. AbleGnome
I didn't read this thread...I just jumped in. So please tell me to "read the freakin' thread" if my answer is there. :) I got the NMM for Skyrim. Works great. I can download mods for FO3 with the manager...and even see the manager interface listing my FO3 mods...but I cannot find it on my computer. I only have the Skyrim NMM on my computer. What am I missing?? Edited December 31, 2011 by AbleGnome
buddah
launch nmm, when it gets to the final where it says "launch skyrim. in the upper right click on the refresh icon, and then select the game you want to launch, If you are using it for multiple games DO NOT check, don't ask me next time. Now when you launch the manager it will ask you which game you want.

channel0
Hi, i have a big problem with my Nexus Mod Manager. I Can´t to log in this programm. "The given login information is invalid." But my accaunt and password is function on skyrimnexus.com. But I can´t to login in Nexus Mod Manger. Please help me!!! hi, i had the same problem. the solution is to change your password for the nexus forum into a combination of letters (no capitals) and numbers only. after that, when you fire up the NMM, it will update your password, and you should be good to go.cheers
