PsYchotic666Joker
i don't like it myself, i wish we had all our slots back like in morrowind!

Robynah
More equipment slots is good. Removing them is bad. That said I don't particularly care for this one. I'd rather see more jewelry slots and a cloak than seperate lower and upper armor (which when you think about it doesnt make mcuh sense). BarefootWarrior
Once again they cut corners in the wrong places. We should have that option of separate clothing items such as pants, shirts, etc. I think the mix and match thing is important and so far I'm not crazy about all the clothing or armor items, so it would be nice to mix them up a bit. Arinithor
I don't mind the combo...less pieces to keep up with. :P I also prefer matching sets, and it helps with that. I liked the old system, but the new one isn't bad either, IMO. I totally agree. I preferred the separate pieces and managing them, etc. More mixing and matching available and easier to use pieces with different magical effects, etc. That being said, I don't hate or feel very strongly about the change. The game still rocks and it DOES make things a little easier as far as using matched sets, etc.
Rennn
I didn't like it at first, but now I love it. It's easier to give your character a unified style, and it allows for more complex armors.
InuyashaFE
I don't mind it, but I'd still like if they had more slots to make up for it. Like people said, more jewelry slots, cloak slots, etc.
OBtech
I like to enchant my pieces. Less slots mean there are less pieces I can enchant, less magical effects I can have active at the same time from equipment. Hopefully, the unlimited amulets and rings mod will make it from Oblivion to Skyrim. That will help tremendously. As far as cuirass and greaves, I like the idea of separate pieces for versatility, but I am sure that there will be less clipping in armor at the waistline like was so prevalent in some armor mods in Oblivion. bpestilence
What irks me the most is that in each subsequent TES game, the options diminish more and more. I miss the style in Morrowind, where you wore seperate helm, cuirass, grieves, boots, pauldrons, and bracers, and wore pants and shirts under your armor, and could wear robes over the armor. Add that to a necklace and two rings, and you could wear 12 different enchanted items. It also made sense, since small items, like pauldrons or bracers, could not hold very much enchantment, enough for a point or two of a particular attribute. This was also in the time when a constant effect enchantment was super rare and valuable. Oblivion ruined that entirely (and made the most valuable items in Morrowind: Azura's Star and Umbra, completely worthless)
Phranx919
I feel it's more natural to have separate body and leg clothing, with some exceptions like robes. And I'd like to be able to use multiple rings, but also feel that ring enchantments should be smaller than necklaces of the same level (smaller Item to enchant). Simlar for armor pieces, the bigger it is, the larger spell it can hold (like it is with better quality items now). I do like the Disenchantment to learn enchantment spells, as this give you a sometimes painful choice between using or selling am item versus learning to do the enchantment yourself.
