Hello this is a problem, i can't seem to figure out which video card to get, so i am relying on you to decide and the Ultimate winner will be on my build this Fallowing month.

So lets get started, you can argue over aftermarket coolers all you want

There is hints of a radeon r480 with custom coolers by this link from Tigerdirect.com

250$ price tag WOO

Budget is pretty important here. If a GTX 1080 is even plausible for your budget then the poll is worthless as it is the best card in the whole bunch. So, what is your projected build/budget? A PC Part Picker list would also be helpful.

I've had my 1070 for 6 days now - I'm yet to see my led change colour. The fans never been above 20% it's never been above 60 degrees centigrade and despite NVidia Geforces suggested "Optimal" settings, it'll sit a 60fps with everything meaningful set to Ultra etc in Fallout 4 as well as a bunch of HD stuff added. Memory usage maxed at 5200MB and that was at one of my Cannabis Farms/Settlements

I need a new monitor to do it justice and I need to uninstall GeForce experience.

Cards been great - I've zero complaints.

If you're looking at the RX 480 or R9 390 then just take a look at the benchmarks and see which one floats your boar more, and makes your wallet less sad. The RX 480 kind of floats around GTX 970 performance (just below or above depending on the game) and the R9 390 is generally above the GTX 970 from what I recall of the benchmarks (which I looked at when the card came out, so it's a bit fuzzy). Both are good cards in their own right though.

Note: The RX 480 may be hard to obtain depending on where you are since a lot of places are sold out. However, it will run cooler and should have superior DX12 support. However, I believe the board partners have yet to release their versions of the cards - so that may be worth waiting for.
