Saintdane1121
Hey all, Been scrounging through the forums and interwebs trying to find a solution and to no avail. So the problem is after I download Mod Manager, I set my .exe and my mod folder everything shows up fine on the Manager, I merge everything no errors get a task completed successfully, go into the game load a save and none of the mods I use work or are active. Currently I only use quicker looting and No wait time for the war table, but every time I load in and run to the war table to check, it still takes the normal time. I have tried changing the patch number higher, deleting the patch folder repairing the game and re-merge the mods, I have tried doing a fresh install and merge the mods, plus numerous file swaps and other misc items trying to get this mod to work. I don't feel it would be a conflicting mod issue as the two mods do not necessarily deal with each other, but I'm no expert. Any help would be appreciated! Thandal
Weird. I use the exact same mods (plus a few more) and have never had a problem. Anything non-standard about your game installation or file location(s)?
Saintdane1121
Not that I cant think of, Downloaded/installed with the Origin client, to my drive, file pathing goes D:/games/origingames/Dragon Age Inquisition. That is where the .exe is located along with everything else except saved games which is located in My Docs folder.
LMaya
So today there was an Origin games update.Until 3 days ago all my mods were running perfectly. As of today i confirm my mods are not appearing in game. I loaded my last save where the mods were still appearing 3 days ago (skyhold) now they are not there. Could the update have something to do with it? :-O i dont understand...i never had problem with mods not appearing.....i have the newest mod manager installed, and i merged the files again just in case but theres no change. Help? :-O Edited July 13, 2016 by LMaya
LMaya
Edit: so the update somehow caused all the options go back to default. And that was the problem. I only noticed it now; so i had to set the graphics-meshes and textures back to ultra again and it now works again.
hullubaloo
I just bought the GOTY edition and no mods work and according to the Nexusmods page they should ... Also I had no error during the merge; they simply do not appear in game ...
Thandal
If you are having issues with mods, you have to tell us which mods or no one can help. :armscrossed:
Deleted34950795User
I have pretty much the same issue and I posted it here, because I thought this topic was closed.I don't don't know if it was simply overseen, which would be a master performance or if I am ignored, or there simply aren't any solutions... Thandal
@Yroxay; You were ignored because you made things too complicated. Here's some ProTips for you, and anyone, when you have a problem getting a mod to work: a. Tell us which mod(s)!!! Don't give a list of links, we're not going to click on them. If you can't be bothered to spell out EXACTLY which mods you're trying to use, then we can't be bothered to help figure out your problem. b. Keep it simple. Don't write a long story about how much you like this-or-that mod, or how kewl your character looked until you added something else. "What mod(s)?" and "What happens?" That's it. c. The absolute standard troubleshooting steps are: 1. Remove all all mods. Does the game run correctly? If not, problem is not a mod.2. Add the one mod you absolutely must have. Does the game run correctly? If not, "There's your problem, lady."3. Add HALF the rest of the mods you want. Does the game run correctly? If not, the problem is one of those mods. (If yes, skip to Step 5.)4. Remove the mods you just added, then add HALF of them back, Does the game work correctly? If not, Rinse-Repeat until you've found which mod causes the problem.5. Add the remainder of the mods you want to use. Does the game run correctly? If no, see Step 4.
Deleted34950795User
@Thandal I am sorry, I did not mean to make anything too complicated, I just thought I should decribe it in detail so you don't have to ask for anything. If it helps, I could write a shorter version of my post.
