AutoUpgrading Settlements

Hi everyone

 

I was working on a mod awhile ago to make settlements auto upgrade before i got distracted by other things

 

The settlements in the game are not owned by the player and yet we have to do all the work while the settlers complain

This takes so much immersion out of the game

 

Anyway i wrote some code that when a certain amount of time has passed and if there was enough settlers the settlement would progress to its next stage

and slowly the settlement would grow (only if the player wants it to)

 

The player would claim the settlement and go scrap all nice clean slate

as the first settler arrives they would make a shelter (tent and a sleeping bag) the next settler would then upgrade it a little until the settlement is full and it is a small city

 

I don't currently have time to work on this but i don't want it to go to waste

 

WHAT IM LOOKING FOR

 

Someone to build the settlement stages and make it look all pretty

Most of the code is done and i can work on the parts that need it

i love this idea,

my question is : what is your code do?

and what we must do with your code?

The code just checks to see if there is enough settlers and if there is then it unhides the next upgrade level and hides the previous level

Each level has 2 groups a permanent one and a temp one

the Temp can be hidden when it needs to be

All i need is someone(s) to be willing to build the settlements
