TheDragonEpmperor
Uggh. So I read through the entire thread, hit mulit-quote several times to respond with my thoughts on this, but apparently you can only multi-quote a single page at a time? Oh well, I will make my point the best I can, but I would have liked to send my personal appreciation many of the posters, so to the thread starter at least... Thank you for monitoring his thread to keep it positive and on the topic of what YOU wanted it to be. And of course for creating this great topic for starters!  Modding and installing mods is about personal expression and personal preference. Modding = Personal Expression: This is where you get to be YOU and share you creations to the rest of the nexus community. My personal opinion is that spending time creating your own ideas is very healthy for the soul! ;) And when you share your creations, you are expanding your joy into other people's lives. I'd like to see many more people investing their time into these types of activities rather than veggin out on the TV for example. :nuke: Installing Mods = Personal Preference: It always annoys me when people jump on a topic that doesn't suit them and say what they don't like about someone else's vision. People need to realize that if something isn't in their own best interest, that they can simply move on to the next topic and find a more suited topic to discuss that actually does make them excited or happy. It is one thing to point out their personal preference on a topic, such as the many comments I wanted to express my thanks for their attitude on; for example, "This is my vote!" "I'd like to see this implemented into your idea!" but wouldn't it be nice if there were no more, "that is stupid" - "you are wrong" types of comments?! ;) It's one thing to have an opinion, but everyone is right within their own context. The 1st couple pages were quite disappointing as people were going out of their way to post a negative comments on something that they could otherwise simply not install and it would not effect their Skyrim experience whatsoever. I'm just trying to give people something to think about here... If you don't like something, simply move on to something you DO like. Ask yourself why you are investing your time posting a comment about something you do not like? This only takes away from your own personal happiness. So to those few that have this habit, please consider spending this time on what you DO enjoy. Well for me personally, I would really like to see this come together! How fun to see these new characters in the game?! Great topic! "Thundercats.. Roar!" ;D I am agree with you there My friend I will never Give up We came so this far to make one of the Race mods yeah? Um HAve you More Ideas For mods?
perfection
I am all for this Idea, I already think there are too many elves in the game, so something that is actually not an elf variant would be nice (unlike oblivion where there were I think about a hundred different variations on elves). Suggestions:Some of the lore friendly creatures mentioned earlier in this topic.Aquatic Races: Orcas, Sharks, Cephalopods (squids, octopi, cuttlefish)Airial Races; Crow or Raven people, Bat people, Dragon-kin of some sort.Terrestial Races; all the other furries mentioned so far. rocker409
I kinda agree with people saying that it would kinda break the lore of skyrim to add new best races. However if you just wanted a new "skin" per say for a anthro wolf or something for you player with the same states as already chosen race, i could see that. It would be cool though if there was a mod that let you be a khajiit from Arena and Daggerfall (human and your hated human cat hybrid.) It would still technically fallow lore. shadowxi304
oh, just to throw another thought out there, i just remembered this from talking to a friend of mine about final fantasy 9, how about a bermecian race (rat/mouse anthro race) from FF9. that would be kind of neat. and also, just for a heads up, i don't know it it would work; although i'm sure it wont, but what about a nude version mesh for male and females of each race to show the bits and such. x3Actually maybe 2 nude variants, one would more anatomaly correct and the other would just more a a more hybrid-like male bits, in other words a a cross-between human and anthro bits. Plus. it would be awesome to be able to have hairstyles on them, like modded hairstyles from this: http://skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5152# to be able to fit the animal races for males and females. Kalimni
Just an FYI, because I never saw it brought up (may have missed it) but there are actually a few other beast races in the lore that could be added. See the following links for details:Imga, Limothiit, SloadThere are not any images of the Limothiit. There are also races from the Akavir Continent that are not used, as well as some human and mer races. A complete list of all races can be found here. I just skimmed the pages looking for key words. Didnt look to hard, so would have been easy for me to miss.
