Gabbemaster
Gabbe_master it doesn`t contribute to gay people being accepted.. atleast not in my opinion. With the way everybody plays these games it`s just "wtf did you just say?? I`m going to chop ur head off lol". Not that I by any means think it`s fun but my friends for example are doing it. Everyone is free to play the game in any way they want, and I am perfectly fine with the fact that some might get disturbed by the fact that gay marriage is a possibility by default. It is however, in my opinion, something that really belongs to a big sandbox game like Skyrim, and also to some more heavily story driven games like Dragon Age Origins. If it's disturbing, remove it yourself. But some of us that are more open minded might get a much better immersion and a much better game experience from the fact that something as natural as relationships between two humans isn't restricted by ethic views belonging in the stone age. 4dvz
Now if you have an issue that it is coded into the game at all...That's another issue, all I have to say is well it is coded into the world we live in. Deal with it. Well for example in the place I`m from and been living in for a very long time I`ve met 0 gay people. I haven`t heard about somebody actually being gay. There`s no homosexuality amongst my friends, their families nor my family, so it´s not coded into my world for example. It may be coded into the world in general, but so are many other things that are less natural/normal than others.. and whether there are reasons to put some of them that many people will find offensive into video games, is what I`m talking about. Lisnpuppy
This has gone from a game mechanic you dislike to anti-gay opinion postings. This does not belong in this section.
4dvz
Must be inevitable on some levels because you get people telling you that it`s natural and should be accepted in this game. But still to avoid misunderstanding I stated in my original posts that I have nothing against people being gay in real life. My message is not against homosexuality, it`s against the fact that there is homosexuality in this game. I see it more underground thingie than something that belongs to a game selling millions of copies. Edited November 19, 2011 by 4dvz
Gabbemaster
. I think the number of people finding gay relationships in games offensive is much lower than the number of people who are fine with it.Just want to ensure that you don't miss the link I posted before:http://oneworldgroup...-unnatural-now/ Edited November 19, 2011 by Gabbe_master
gurgelstock
I'm a guy playing a female char and I am annoyed by male npcs hitting on me. My char marrying a guy would actually feel gay to me so I am glad Bethesda included this option. I just wish it would work...

For example a black widow eats her lover after the act, yet it is natural because it happens in nature wouldn`t make it natural for a human to do the same thing. Once again taking the discussion to the wrong tracks I want to avoid.. Just have to make counter arguments so sorry about it. I don`t want to make this a debate of homosexuality in general, otherwise this thread gets locked. Edited November 19, 2011 by 4dvz

Some people? what like homophobes? Stop wearing the amulet and intentionally chatting up guys. then you can go back to the 1950s or where ever this far off land you hail from is. Beriallord
Maybe its because I'm playing as a Male Orc? I dunno but I never got hit on by guys. Also played as a high elf, again, never got hit on by guys. I mean if you don't like it you can always take a battle axe to their face.
