What is the most likely dlc in your opinion?

If I remember right, Bethesda said that they are trying to make all dlcs atleast have the size of Shivering Isles, so that pretty much rules out small dungeons and stuff.

Yeah But like so many others it will have something to do with the Thalmor, they're the true enemy!!

THEY MUST DIE!!

hope we get to go to the isles and take the fight to them!

Also I wouldn't surprised to see Sheogorath getting involved in some form of DLC...

He's such an awesome character...

I wonder what happened to the knights of the nine? the Thalmor probably hunted them down as well...considering the fact they worship Talos etc.

Mudcrab armor! (no, not really, that was a joke by game informer (I think))

Werewolf Lycanthropy was mentioned as a possible dlc several months ago. (Referring to the feral type werewolves who don't have control over transformations and such (as in bloodmoon).)

I'm personally hoping for (and thinking it likely) that we will also get at least one of the two:

Dwemer (maybe even tied in with the return of the fallen falmer?) or Thalmor/Dominion

Even better if we can get both!

There always hope, the Dwemer are a big part of Skyrim, after all they did have an elder scroll...

I'm hoping for the Thalmor DLC firs if there is one...I just want to hunt Thalmor on their pretty little isle...

then burn it all to the ground...or at leat burn some Thalmor, I'm happy either way...

I for one hate the Thalmor with a passion. I straight did not give a damn who was watching, if I saw one of them that I could actually kill, I went for it right then and there. No wasted words, just a sword to the guts.

And It really would seem weird not to get some kind of DLC to go along with This new antagonistic group that seems to have this great plan for committing genocide on all of human kind.

Other than that I could see some Blades DLC pop up and not feel out of place. Though that seems more like Mod Material than actual DLC.

Just to pre empt suggestions, heading somewhere where the Dwemer are still alive is ridiculous. Or potentially awesome; but it would require a huge amount of work to do it justice. It would make a truly awful DLC, but a potentially brilliant TES: VI. Same with travelling to the Sunset Isles. To do that area justice, it would need to be a worldspace similar in size and details to Skyrim itself, having the Sunset Isles as a DLC is very bad indeed. HOWEVER Im almost certain that there will be a DLC which involves the Thalmor in Skyrim, the devs have created this huge extra part of Tamrielic lore and not really expanded on it that much, certainly not given the player any way to infulence the Thalmor that much, so I expect a Thalmor DLC to be released. I suspect that it will be Knights of the Nine style, and will involve Skyrim itself (but with more content than Knights of the Nine). Ive no idea what the other DLC (or the others; the last few TES titles have had two DLCs, but since then Bethesda (and Obsidian with FO:NV) have released four major DLCs for their Fallout titles, so there may be more than two for Skyrim) will be about, but Im certain it will involve a new worldspace. I dont think the devs will make the worldspace High Rock, as some have suggested, as (once again) it would not do justice to an entire province that gave rise to an entire race. Cyrodil and Skyrim are too small for a province IMO, given the size of Vvarfendell in Morrowind.

Bear in mind, Jimmyz, that the game is somewhat scaled. Daggerfall, for instance, was somewhere in the area of 3x the size of Great Brittian, and took something like 5 real-time days to cross on foot. As in, it was massive. It's the only really true-scale province they've created. Even Vardenfell was scaled down. Cities like Vivec, Solitude and the Imperial City would have a population in the hundreds, if not thousands, as opposed to the few dozen we see. Traveling from Whiterun to Solitude would also, more than likely, take days. As such, you can't really say Skyrim and Cyrodil are too small, because their scaled to accomidate both the technical limitations, and to make it actually playable.

That said, i agree that including another province in an expansion would be bad, for the same reasons you state. It would be impossible to do it justice, and at the same time it would be detracting from future TES titles.

I, however, also find it unlikely that there will be anyhting particularly dramatic involving the Thalmor. Driving them out of Skyrim is probably the extent of what we'd see, and their really nothing more than a small contingent of religious police based out of one poorly defended possition. The reason i say this is, as i mentioned earlier, they have no real lines into Skyrim save for through the Empire. Even then, if war were to start between the Dominion and the Empire, they would have to carve their way through Cyrodil first, at which point Skyrim would most likely be screwed.

I'm growing warmer and warmer to the idea of the Daedra being involved, as they are notably absent from most of the game. Here i am, level 39, and i have 3 Daedra Hearts and a handfull of fire salts. Yay. The buggers were more involved in Morrowind. Still, i understand the oblivion Crisis was supposed to put an end to their meddling, but i'd like to see some more involvement from my beloved Azura. Sheogorath's been done.

Summerset isles!

This was a common guess for next elder scrolls games in the time of oblivion since the npc talk about daedra worship there in oblivion.

+ some people complain that all they see now is ice, no lush forests (duh, skyrim)

+ it has the elves

+ good size for dlc. nothing too small.

something with lush forests summer and stuff like that!

I take it as obviousity aswell, that it will involve attack of the thalmor.
