  1. Yeah I used to have this problem with 560TI. When updating firmware I'd simply go back to old if it caused crashes. The newest beta driver 301.24 doesn't cause any CTD's either.
  2. I've created pretty big space with a lot of this custom model, that doesn't have collision. Noticed it just now. Is there a way to modify the base model so that it has the collision mesh? I'd appreciate if someone could create collision mesh to this object, I really wouldn't want to fill the place with clumsy and unrealistic collision boxes.
  3. Yeah tried clicking. Tried everything that you'd do with your average CK skills. It's not an object it's definitely water tile (I believe). Can't click can't move.
  4. This is the second time this happens, and instead of reverting to latest backup from 2 days ago I'd rather try to fix it this time. So anyone got any idea how to rid of the water block that completely ignores your order to go underground (height value -9001 or anything..) I just altered whiterun world a bit on one of my mods and this happens. (Pic) No it doesn't help to try to set the height of the cell low.
  5. I've been experiencing annoying swimming in the air bug and figured I'd try to use the same heightmap and copy the content from the isle and see if the area is simply corrupt. So if anyone knows how to copy a heightmap from a terrain to another terrain I'd appreciate. ;)
  6. Okay the easy way to do this: Double klick the door so you get the edit window open, after which you go to where-ever you want to teleport it, add another door there and now you check the teleport from the edit box you opened earlier. Now you klick "select reference in render window" and you then double klick the partner door that you want to link with the other. Now all you have to do is move door markers away from the doors so that you don't appear inside the door. Hope it explained it to you ;)

  8. Unfortunately it doesn't fix this. Besides I need that water tile for a pool where liver lands at so I'd much prefer another fix. I might see if it's possible to remove that water tile completely that'd fix it for sure probably (if it comes to that.)

  11. The water level everywhere is even and definitely underground at the area. I move around normally and eventually my character starts to swim.. and turning camera after it occurs also blurs the camera (underwater effect) I bet hardly anyone's encountered this but if it happens that someone knows how to fix it, would appreciate :) I fear it's corrupted for good, past 3 days worked for it and now it's doing this. Hmm, if you can't figure the thing with the ID out (I've had similar problems with items already in-game when doing the additem command) try to drag the item into the world and go see if you can pick the item up from where you left it (drop to someone's inventory, chest, ground, anywhere.) Hope that helps :) Edit: seems like you got help while I was typing, anyway hope you solve your problem ;)
  13. I'm no expert in the matter, but when trying to use meshes from old resources I used in oblivion I get error that the file type is outdated. I believe you can still use old meshes, I get the error that says that the file type is outdated, but if you revisit the models in the newer versions of, say, blender you might be able to use the old meshes in skyrim without starting over. Again, not and expert, just figured it should be possible ;)
  14. I've been fiddling around the CK for some time now and it feels familiar, however, a little clumsy. For instance, moving objects seem not to work as well as it did with construction set. It seems that the default value for changing a coordinate is set really high like 45 or 55 while it was only 1 unit in construction set. This means that when I move an object, or rotate it, it jumps a lot at once Is this easily changed or is this just something we have to cope with?

More dirt for the people :P yes and maybe make it evil for dracula and good white bricks prob for king arthur. hey i upgraded my 3ds max 8 to 2010 and it better work, $$$ got pluging etc so i got no choice i got to make stuff now, firstr should be fast as it will be my nibenay castle redone, a easier one to get the rust out of me :) also i might release my stuff only to those who reply lol, forget about 40,000 download, i don`t need that lol but in truth, i could release it here when i`m done, when i know i can export my stuff and check it out through ck is when i will built tons of stuff right now getting ready I would most certainly enjoy seeing what you come up with since I really like the models you make. Do you reckon your work could be open to be used as resource for modders? If not then I'll just enjoy whatever you make and maybe make my personal adjustments, at any rate keep us updated with pics, love the pics ;)

Please do share pictures of your progress ;)
  18. Secret option 6] Elven architecture inspired by lotr :D From those five the king arthur appeals most to me, although I love that new castle mesh you've modeled it's brilliant! In what colors did you picture it in?

As bethesda said they are working with VALVe currently with it (couple weeks back) I suggest we look it up on valve times. https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Valve_Time Hmm "Next week" would refer it's gonna be released week from now and next friday. But then again you don't see "next tuesday" in the time table so it might just be true :)
  20. Yer, more likely. I can't imagine, even with ice, that that roman architecture would've ever been in skyrim even with ice on top of it. Making small island is not that hard (well at least with construction set which should be fairly similar.) or perhaps a teleport spell for that mage character of yours that always brings you back to your warm Roman/Upper class n' sweet home.
  21. I love it, especially the roman meshes are really impressive. I really hope you'll post some of these as resource before or after CK release. ;)
