I've been having that issue with FireFox ever since I became really active on the Nexus again (and not only here, but on a couple of different sites like the official Formula One site and such) and consequently switched to Chrome with which I don't have the issue (on either site where I had problems with FF, despite using the exact same add-ons with the same settings for both browsers)

So, if you haven't tried switching browsers yet (and should you indeed use FireFox, of course) give it a try and see what gives ;) Edited by JimmyRJump

Is there a reason the Download NMM button doesn't work for me or update warnings aren't working?

I find this happens when I do a clean up, which I do quite often, and remove Cookies. But it also happens with other sites also. I also use an automatic password program which is attached to my virus security.
