Vagrant0
basicly almost the same issues it had under oblivion and that was 2006. Um... no. Not even close. Looking under the hood, it has resolved most of the limitations of Oblivion. Off the top of my head: Multiple layers of semi-transparent texturesImproved water physics and propertiesBody models with built in morphsMore varied use of shadersMore varied use of particlesLive terrain deformBetter handling of distant landscapeBetter handling of animationsBetter handling of voices and dialoguesVastly different combat mechanicsFar more stable as long as you have enough memoryMore varied AILasting flames, frost, scorch marksHavok sim which handles many more reactive objectsMovement engine which adjusts limb positions based on world constraintsSmooth blending between activators and animation objects
Reddimus
This isn't limited to the PC. Maybe it's just that the PC crowd is a click away from the forums
soot00
My only problem with skyrim is the UI :wallbash: other then that, im having a blast playing this game...its awesome. I got used to the UI in terms of cycling and finding stuff. The biggest gripe I have is the lack of Buff timers on the main screen telling you when buffs are about to run out and the fact spell cast buffs only last 60 seconds. As a pure mage wearing clothe, running around with no armor rating buffs means I get one shot, haha. Casting buffs every minute and having to scroll through "Active spells" to see what's up is a chore. Reason I stopped playing my mage toon. Goliath978
I'm PC and this is my second fav game of life. bF3 being top but considering I love Bf3 so much that I need a change of underwear every time I play...Skyrim is amazing. On pC more than anything IMo. Each game will have flaws if you look for em. Anything in life for that matter
Valamyr
This isn't limited to the PC. Maybe it's just that the PC crowd is a click away from the forums  There are legitimate issues here. PC controls are terrible and thats a PC-specific issue, for one. Anyhow, its no use pointing fingers. People have a right to be only partially satisfied or even totally dissatisfied and to *censored* about it if they must. The issue is personal and affects no one else, as its a SP game. Personally I think Skyrim is okay, but more importantly that itll be amazing once properly modded. Is it everything I could have ever wanted? No. Is it crap? Certainly not. We picked up far worse games than this from the gutter and made them into cult classics over the years. Reddimus
*cough* You think I'm unaware? I especially dislike when PC controls are half-assed considering there's so much wasted potential, but that's beside the point. That alone certainly doesn't account for all the complaints of the game.

Yeah thats why i never gone mage, playing assassin now but still its a chore...especially since quick key bindings 1-8 on dual equiped weps arent working for me..so i have to go everytime to favorite menu select bow ,shoot go back, select daggers...sigh it kills the fluidity of gameplay for me when im pausing every 4 sec. Personally none of these bother me, I make my own mind about games. I do have a slight pet peeve when I get the vibe people are telling others they shouldnt hate something they hate or shouldnt love something they love, if you catch my drift. Whining threads bother me less than then "You have no right to whine!" threads, even if I'm happy with a game. Even when its not wholly deserved, I think proper and polite criticism should always be welcome. Forums are useless if they're just a circle-jerk of happiness. I think it's unfair to call the PC crowd 'the whiners' (pertaining to topic title) when there're plenty of issues on all platforms and plenty of people to vocalize them. I always see people who come and bash those who criticise the game...surely some things are overdone, but most of these threads are a good debate about some things that could be better in the game...its exatly as you said, people come here and push their opinions upon others, becouse they think if they are happy everyone should be.
