agentile
What difficulty do you play on? I've read a lot of forums posts and topics about this game and a lot of people seem to think that Adept/Medium setting is simply too easy. What do you think? Barlas
On my Conjurer-type mage, I play Master, because my dremora lord kills everything pretty quickly. On my Unarmed Kahjit, I play apprentice. On my Destruction/Restoration/Illusion mage, I play Adept. On my Assassin-type character, I play Apprentice. frakle
Whatever difficulty the game starts you with. It's not necessarily challenging, but it doesn't make it to where I can run around naked and kill everyone, and it's a good middle ground. I like it and I use it on all my characters. PsYchotic666Joker
Every character every playthrough, from the very start, i play on master 100% of the time, and never change it to anything else
FeralCr
I played on Expert with a barbarian (2 handed weapon, light armor) and it is challenging. I played on Expert with a mage slayer mage (1 hand+shield, no armor, mostly melee with spells) and it is really challenging. Archers rape me... Nothing will stop them. domanz
Expert with a warrior/assassin character, specializing in sneak, archery, block, smithing and one handed. Gets a little bit easy because very many enemies die with one shot from sneaking. And master with a destruction mage, use the dynamic destruction magic mod though which adds immense spellpower and mana regen at the cost of very expensive spells. Basically this means I one-or 3 shot my enemies or they 2-shot me.

No need for a mod, just smith 4 different armor types with 25% destruction cost reduction and get the 'stun' effect when you dual cast. Then just go crazy, when facing multiple enemies you try and always attack the nearest to you when you are forced to back up. Chain lightning is ridiculous here as well. Master is just a cakewalk unfortunately
JayDubWill
I'm playing Expert with my Spellsword. Level 12 right now and it's been slightly challenging, especially since I switched to light armor. I'm the type if I die 3-4 times in a row, I'll go do something else until I've leveled up a bit more.
