1. I'm going to put up a post on the TM tumblr today. It's very hit or miss, depending on who reblogs. Sometimes there are 25 likes for a post and sometimes there are 200 or 700. So, it may help, it may not.

 

 

2. Apathy abounds. It really does. I think it's especially hard when it's so clear the game developer is so clearly disparaging it's core player base. Hard to find motivation after that.

 

 

3. "Thought: On authors who do not host on Nexus: can we create some sort of download for "Mods you might like but are not here" so that people can still search here but be directed to their sites?"

 

You'd have to have permission from those authors, regardless. Otherwise, you're distributing their mod w/o their permission. If they have something against Nexus, specifically, then they are still doing their userbase no good by only hosting on their personal blog, Mediafire link, etc. There's just no good way to support your mods via that method.

2. Yeah :( While I cannot impact Bioware's decision I can at least help the database not be lost forever. They cannot dictate the heart of the gamer! Vive le.. modding?

 

3. I was thinking a Word or OpenOffice document. No actual mod but just "If you are missing a mod from the legacy bioware site, these are the formal hosts of the following mods and their mod authors. There are no mod files, just a list for your own search."

I have room, for now. Since it isn't very big once compressed, I can keep a copy if needed.

 

I agree with you Tarshana, I thought more people would come and help. I'm quite disappointed for now. We're doing this for them, we could just keep our backups and not care about the rest of the community.
