Hadrijan Posted November 23, 2011 Share Posted November 23, 2011 (edited) Don't start or even think abaut doing that quest in Markarth that starts with that woman gething killed in the market ,is bugged BAD!!! It basicaly can end you with a bounty with over 5k gold on youre head and no wey to remove it ,at all. Guards bugg up bribe/persuade fails 100% ,and choosing to go to jail just resets the entire conversation ,so ither fight or flight, no other option. Bounty collectors just take youre money and bugg up to since they NEVER remove youre bounty, and the cheat code to remove bounty won't go under that 5k point. So its a gamebreaking thing. I ended by not fighting anyone, let them figure it out by themselves and got out of town when I could. But..I had to come back later to remove a disease and of course I had to pick the Temple of Talos. I walked in and there were the three guards...again ( we had already done this and I let them arrest me ) telling me I was going to go to prison (again?). Soooo..yes, I think there is a bug in this one. I backed up and reloaded, went to the other temple and once again..left town...I I won't go back if I can avoid it. LOL!!! :tongue: EDIT: I should add, I did finish this quest, and it shows as such. But it started again when I went back into the Temple of Talos later...very odd. But once you get out of the Dwemer section and all the prisoners start killing guards - stand aside. Don't kill anyone as they rout through the city. The bounty you get will be forgiven as soon as the prisoners escape. All I did was loot the guards' bodies on my wait out of the city free and clear, no bounty no bad things happened. As for the quests, encounters, i had zero problems, played as i would have in reality making choices, it all came out well in the end. I saved the girl, pause and appropriate item makes the guy turn on you, passed up the thalmor request for proof, solved and cleared the dungeons, handled the forsworn incident and even got thrown in jail after having to kill many guards in a certain outcome, one that led to a suprise and a satisfactory and realisticly grudging ending that was in my mind very well done (one of many solutions though). Total time to cleanup tha Markarth messes, 3 days. Stories are well done for the most part, thought the graphics, ui and other major gaffs for the pc abound. Since realy.. wen is Beths going to put oute a proper patch? Since ther are other bugged up quests oute ther.
