Battousai124
Oh yeah, the 1.7.12 was a dream update. It solved EVERY issue i had with this game by making it impossible for me to even start a new game, even without mods or even DLCs enabled^^
TummaSuklaa
Having no problems here.. I use only 3 mods which I made myself. That's not to downplay everyone's complaining either. I'm simply lucky. Edited August 13, 2016 by TummaSuklaa

Perraine
Another update, another whinge fest. Oh joy.I know, :) The tears of the broken hearted are so sweet :P After playing FO:3/NV and Skyrim for more hours than I care to admit, and modding them so much that they were barely recognizable as the same games, I learnt what to install and what NOT to install, until Bugthesda have finished with their "fixing". Give it a year, and these posts won't appear any more, but right now ... <drinks another sweet pint of inexperienced mod users tears> Ahhh, refreshing .... (BTW, you should read some of the Reddit posts scattered around the interwebs by F4SE users ... Not for the faint hearted or squeamish though, as they call Bugthesda some terrible names) But they ARE funny :D "Bugthedsa ... Bugthesda never changes" . ginnyfizz
What particularly unpleasant and factually incorrect posts from Steve40 and Perraine. I am not an inexperienced mod user, having been using mods since Morrowind - in fact I make the odd mod myself - and nor am I crying. I use F4SE because it makes all kinds of improvements to the game possible. I have Skyrim and Witcher 3 for the periods where I have to wait for F4SE and associated mods to update. But the amount of updates upon updates within a few days of each other with this game have been unprecedented, many of which have naff all to do with PC players like me and everything to do with the pathetic attachment of console companies to achievements, or with Bethesda's equally ridiculous Bethesda.net. To be honest I have found FO4 the most stable Bethesda game to date so am a bit baffled by these supposed improvements, but then I did make sure to update my hardware to make sure it could cut it. Any problems I have had have been caused by the quirky AMD Drivers and the fact that the card in my new desktop build (R390X 8Gb) needs a monster PSU - now sorted - rather than the game itself. Rather than running around like headless chickens and letting out updates piecemeal, surely it would be better to work a little while longer and release bigger but better updates a la CDPR? These little and often updates just make Bethesda look disorganised.

You're making fun of those not being able to play the game because of these updates(because they break F4SE/other mods that rely on F4SE) when the updates can potentially break unmodded games as well. If you want to make fun of anyone, it's bethesda. Not the ones suffering because of their attempts to fix/undo things that should not have been present from the start. Matty06
It's okay, Perraine is one of those cool smart dudes who know better than the average population and feels the urge to show it. The SE is totally useless until Beth stops releasing all their little worthless patches in about half an year.
Thicketford
I actually need F4SE to play the game. It's the only way I can use custom controls and use left handed analogue sticks. So I think I'm allowed to be a little annoyed about this.
Arogonian
Can I still play launching the game normally? Say if I have 1-2 mods that use f4se is it safe to switch launching method until they release a new version?
cossayos
I don't use f4se mods, so I can only speak from the position of the 63 mods I am using. And the game launches just fine. It's just as unstable as it always has been with frequent CTDs in workshop or pip boy mode.
