JonSwift
I have tested and worked with switches and workshop materials at other settlements with ZERO issues. I get to The Caste, I attempt to store things into the workshop or even use a power switch (while not in workshop mode) and its an instant CTD. Anyone have any similar issues or fixes? cossayos
Similar only as in every workshop leading to a possible CTD. Workshop and pip boy mode actually. I always do a save before calling up workshop of pip boy and frequently exit to not lose too much of what I did. In my case the issues started with patch 1.5. Before that the game was surprisingly stable.
JonSwift
I am hopeful this will be remedied. I have never had pip boy issues, do you know of any fixes or work arounds?

I'm not even ure what causes it. Could be homemaker, could be spring cleaning. I don't know. I don't want to go without these mods, since they add so much to the game and I constantly keep them updated. I only know that I used both of them before patch 1.5 and there wasn't any issue. In my case 1.5 was the breaking point.

While I'm not saying that such isn't the case for you specifically (odds are it's clashes between mods and whatever version of the game you're using) you shouldn't put people on the wrong foot with this info. There's millions of FO4 players out there of which you happen to be one of the (very) few that has this problem. Me, I've also noticed that the game became less and less stable after each update (am at v1.7.9 right now), but the bulk of my problems (CTD, stuttering, hanging, etc) has always been conflicts with mods and/or the result of corrupt files after having deleted one or more mods during a run-through... One must not forget that deleting a mod that caused problems doesn't set your files back to the way they were before you installed that specific mod. Every time you delete a mod your files deteriorate and if and when you start a new game with different mods you should start from a fresh install, as that's the only way you can go back to having a real clean game and a first clean save... JonSwift
I only have a few crafting mods. I have noticed stability going down, I didn't think it would be a mod though seeing as I'm able to operate just fine at other settlements with no issues. Oh well, at least I know its not just me.
