OH yeah! I forgot about that one! I let go of 14 arrows into a dragon and only got two back..what's with that? I am constantly buying or collecting all the steel arrows I can get my hands on. It seems to me all my shots are manual--but I guess I could be mistaken. I've made some pretty long distance shots using trajectory, so the arrows seem to me to have weight and velocity. I usually use sneak and archery to clear out the bad guys--well, it worked pretty well until I got hooked up with Barbas the Daedric Dog, who doesn't have a wait command. But if you're talkign about long distance shots you always aim about one head-and a half higher. However, you may be trying to hit you target at a distance where the arrows looses force and it doesnt register a hit even if you're on target. RCTrue Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 If you've ever shot a compound bow before, it has a bit of lift before drop. In my honest opinion, archery is pretty tough. Wait till your doing Dark Brotherhood assassinations trying to avoid being seen in broad daylight at a long range while sneaking. Its tough to make that 1 shot count, when you have to account for arrow drop/target movement. But the one thing that bugs me, is the fact that I can lay 3 arrows into someones face(well not anymore as I'm pushing out 200pts of damage with each arrow so its almost always a 1 shot kill with "weaker" targets) and them keep coming at me.
