Everyone notices but the Railroad. Desdemona literally kicked me out because I'm working with the Institute - which I had just blown up. That kind of crap obviously never changes. So I had done Nuka World, killed the Disciples, and now they're showing up as random hostile raider groups in the Commonwealth, just like the Rust Devils or whatnot. Fair enough. So I'm taking a long stroll on a short pier, just south of Egret Tours Marina, on my way to *ahem* convince a settlement to support our Pack and Operator troops, when I see three disciples on the other side of the river, with two tied up and kneeling settlers. And, of course, I won't stand for their kind of mindless slaughter of innocents. Those settlers should be slaves on one of my "vassal" farms, dammit. So I pull out me trusty .50 sniper rifle and shoot the three disciples inna head. Then swim over to rescue the settlers, who are still tied up and kneeling. But the only response when I try to interact with them are generic "Yes?" and "Did you want something?" answers. Well, yeah, I want to untie you, you idiots. It's just another one of these Bethesda moments. Probably bugged out on me because I didn't do any Railroad missions befopre taking down the Institute with the Minutemen. I ran several missions with Squires but on one of them when I got back to the Prydwen the Knight guarding the door opened fire for no reason as far as I could see. So, reluctantly I decided I may as well kill everyone on the ship. It seems as if all doors are locked if you go with any given faction. That's OK, but I have chosen that kind of ending to preserve three of them. Running radiants with squires, which only requires go there, kill that, doesn't strike my fancy. I can also imagine the Railroad being out of a job once the Institute is gone, but at least they could have done it so that the Railroad celebrates me as the saviour of Synths instead of providing me with a major immersion killer. But I guess, I shouldn't have expected anything less, given that the Synths in Far Harbor want me to talk to Dima long after he's lying dead on the waterfront. Usually it's stuck in the wall or on the roof, where your missing settlers love to congregate too. Probably on it's way up when you spotted it. Seeking some company.
