jordandrums
the whole thing is just not working and i don't know how to go about fixing it. It loads fine with skyrim, although the games crashes a lot and loot will run when it wants to but when i load nmm for fallout i apparently have no fallout 4 INI files (I do). Then once it does load, the mods that are in my plugins list aren't installed. the ones that are installed are greyed out and then it tells me to make changes to my INI files before i install mods (which i have), before crashing and telling me that "NMM has encountered an error and needs to close". After i load the trace log it tells me access to the documents is denied, that's never happened before. is it better to remove all of my mods and just start again? cossayos
I guess it would be better to redo everything. I only had one problem with NMM so far and that was when I installed the new version of Settlement keywords expanded. That ruined my whole mod setup and I had to reinstall everthing to get it working again.
jordandrums
the whole of NMM or just the Fallout files?
JimmyRJump
Have you recently swapped hard drives or re-installed the game on another drive?

JimmyRJump
Yeah, i have. i had a feeling that it might cause problems Then you must again set the correct paths. NMM is currently set to search for the appropriate files through the wrong corridor sine the destination has changed. Open NMM and hit the cog-wheels in the top task-bar which will open the settings menu. In that pop-up menu, hit the "FallOut4" tab. In that tab, fill out the correct destination folders for the game and for your mods (respectively Mod Directory; Install Info and Fallout 4 Directory) If and when NMM has been left untouched and only the game has changed place, then only fill-out the Fallout 4 Directory space (hit the square with the three dots to the right of the box to scroll through your PC to the spot where FO4 is istalled).
