Premium Account Paid but Not Activated

I have a feeling this may not be the right place for my issue, precisely. But I've looked all over and most other resources I could locate, and they include the disclaimer/direction "This is NOT where you should be posting support requests", so here goes.

My Premium account processed, and I seem to be getting the upgraded download feature, *at times*. I live in Seattle, in the NW corner of the USA. The premium server the system defaults to is Dallas (presumably, being the closest geographically). However, if I use any server other than Kent, UK - the download creeps along at speeds that seem slower than the CDN server(s),with no multi-threading at all. Further, they often stall, resulting in the "999:99" ETA,

So, if I manually override and choose Kent as my default, things work (sort of). A single download works fine. However if multiples downloads queue up (even coming from Kent) the same symptoms occur that I've described. I've checked my download speeds via the Nexus Download Diagnoser, Ookla, BroadBandReports and a few other online speed analyzers. The results are what I expect for my internet provider (Cablemodem with Download throughput rated at >20Mbps (actual results as high as 30-50 off Primetime).

If this is the wrong place to try to resolve my difficulties, please direct me to the appropriate direction. I don't want to be a pest and be barking up the wrong tree. I understand your resources are finite, and I want to play by the rules. Sadly, I'm at a bit of a loss in my current situation. My thanks for your time, and kind assistance.

Sincerely,

Mike in Seattle

Use the "Contact Us" button below, you'll get in touch with the owner of the site directly that way. Financial matters for user accounts on NexusMods should be dealt with the owner.

ZeroKing, were you directing your reply to myself, or to BPBrendanPoole? I'm assuming the latter, as his issue seems more related to finances/payment processing; but I wanted to double check.

Thank in advance.

Hi guys, if you're having any issues with Premium please use the contact form. It goes direct to me and links in to a system where I can access a lot more information about your account and can help you a lot more easily than here on the forums.

Since ZeroKing didn't answer…

Robin, are ZeroKing and your messages directing me to send my concern to the attention of your team? I would have initially, had I thought of it as an issue appropriate (one dealing with connectivity and download throughput) for the group that seemed to focus on Membership Payment Processing? [Edit: As I read the preceding line, I realize it may sound a bit "snarky"; but believe me, nothing could be further from my intent.] Because if that's the case, I'm very happy to do so, as a solution to my download problems is my only goal. I just want to be sure I'm engaging with the correct team for the concern I'm reporting, and that your post was directed to my post as well as BPBrendanPoole. I'm totally understanding of the fact that your organization has to run with a concern for wasteful staffing and resources. I just want to be in the right place for what I'm seeking. If I am indeed in the wrong area, and asking the wrong department, I'd be very appreciative of a digital version of I sign that says "Get in this Queue". :happy: Thank you very much, in advance, for your assistance. Have a great day!

Sincerely,

@MikeBH-

Robin is the person that can fix Premium Member issues. The message above your message provides a link to contact Robin on that as that is where he needs your information to be, not here in the open forums. This is for you and/or anyone premium member issue.

So just click that link and he will get you taken care of. Good luck.

Thanks for the prompt reply Lisnpuppy! I will do so. I just wanted confirmation before barking up the wrong tree, as my issue seemed more of a technical nature than most membership related issues may seem.

Sincerely,
