LE Horseback combat

A mod that lets you use your weapons and spells on horseback.

I second that.

 

You should be able to attack while on a Horse. And walk backwards with it! What kind of a Horse can't walk backwards?

 

It's a mad world.

Add lances and spears (!) so you can charge down your enemies.

 

I'd say blocking should be harder though, and that you can't block on the right side of the horse (possibly parry instead?) and that it will generally be harder to hit people, but that you'd get a bit more power in your swing.

Methinks that once the CK comes out, this'll be simple to do. Might even be a cut/paste job.

horseback bows at least! interaction with NPCs/objects would be nice, and melee and I guess magic too... but mostly I want to be able to shoot a god damn bunny (or any other animal) without jumping off the horse and scaring it away if I don't take the care to be far enough away!

 

I also really want 1st person perspective from atop the equines.

Likewise. Dismounting takes too long if your in the heat of combat. On more than one occasion my mount has been killed by a bear in the time it takes to dismount for you horse and draw your weapon.
