mkborgelt13 Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 When you force a settlement to supply food to the raiders, you lose the ability to use the workshop at that settlement. I find this unacceptable. I have tried to modify the workbench to disconnect it from faction ownership, but that doesn't work. Can anyone suggest how I would make it so I can regain ownership of a settlement after taking it over?
Mavkiel Posted September 5, 2016 Posted September 5, 2016 Oh god that would be great. That and the whole killing of named unique npcs in settlements annoys me. I want to enslave them instead. In theory, it should be as simple as swapping out the settler with a settler with a collar on him/her and neutral to raiders if some condition is met. Like us getting that npc below a certain hp threshold.

Like us getting that npc below a certain hp threshold. I didn't have to kill them, we just shot at them until they fell down, and then I demanded they serve the raiders. Also, I found a solution, at least a temporary one: Clicky the workshop in console mode. Then enter this: "setpv ownedbyplayer 1". This will allow you to use that workshop. I am not yet aware if this damages any conditions for further quests. Ideally I want to modify the quest so it doesn't remove this ownership in the first place, but for now it is working.
mkborgelt13 Posted September 5, 2016 Author Posted September 5, 2016 It really doesn't make sense that you are able to collect taxes from them, yet can't build stuff there.
InvaderJoshua Posted September 8, 2016 Posted September 8, 2016 I really hope someone makes a mod soon that lets you still build and control vassal settlements because losing control of them when you have raiders there occupying them makes no sense.
