jonjoy1999
Hello,I was going through Nuka-world, wrecking face and looting corpses, as you do, and somehow I misplaced my shiny new Vault 88 jumpsuit. It's definitely not in my inventory, and it's not back in my settlement, and my previous save file was from 10 hours ago.Does anyone know of a function or program that would let me search through my game or save file to find the location of the container that has my suit? I've tried the Fallout 4 Save Game Editor, but I don't see an "I've lost my s#*!, help me find it please!" function
JimmyRJump
Make a New save and then load that earlier save from 10hrs ago and look for the suit. Open console, left-click on the suit so that its I.D. appears on the screen. Put the I.D.number on a piece of paper, close the console and reload your original save where you 'lost' the suit, open the console again and type the line player.additem suite I.D. number XX (where XX stands for the amount if units you want)... That should do it ;)
ClayboTGW
Jimmy is right about using the console but you can also type Help 88 4 you'll get a list of everything with 88 in it so you need to look for the armor form listing which would be a 0###### something or You can type coc qasmoke and go to the testing cell and look in the DLC's armor containers and pull one out then type coc redrocketext to get back out of there Edited September 12, 2016 by ClayboTGW

jonjoy1999
Thank you for your suggestions. While I understand the function and ease of use that player.additem has, I feel it's more advantage that I don't want to use in this game play. Is there a way I can search for the ID and find its location in-game?
JimmyRJump
Thank you for your suggestions. While I understand the function and ease of use that player.additem has, I feel it's more advantage that I don't want to use in this game play. Is there a way I can search for the ID and find its location in-game?Well, you know where you found it. In Vault 88. You can search the Vault to maybe stumble upon a suit you missed, or when there's settlers, you can trade with them, give them something else to wear and take back a suit from one of them. Another thing you might try is have a look inside a couple of your WorkShops. If and when you accidentally scrapped the container that had the suit, it will be in the WorkShop's inventory. If however you added the suit to a non self-built container that has meanwhile respawned, then you've lost the suit... As far as the suit's I.D. goes, SharraShimada provided it. jonjoy1999
it's the Legend of Vault 88 suit received from Barstow at the end of Lady Luck. I have the ID (found it via the help console command) I just need to find it. It's not in a workshop container, I'm sure of that, and I'm pretty certain that not enough time has passed for the containers in Nuka World to reset. I haven't played since I realized I lost the suit because I know that containers will reset
SharraShimada
Sorry to tell you, but there is currently no way to find out where you have stuffed a single item, because it has a unique ID, you dont know. Thats not the base ID.I am really sorry to tell you, get over it, and move along, as long as you wont die from it.
